Hello Gwally, it seems I have better luck today? Yesterday I think you left exactly when I arrived. How are you doing?

@Brink: Done, check your PM too :)

Double maths? Sounds very demanding. Does that mean twice as much in quantity, or are they two different areas of maths?

Yes, all I wanted was a Room of One's Own, and I ended up going To the Lighthouse... :p

I'm doing fine today, CE. Having a good time building a shed and playing with the kids. You? :)

edit: btw @all: Pamcakes are very good (nudge, nudge, wink, wink), especially with lots of pure maple syrup! :p
That there; exactly the kinda diversion we coulda used.

@Aegis-Yeap, it's a 'horrible' subject(kinda like it though :) ) :p :D

@Gwalchy-Must try some of those Pamcakes some day :p

LOL! Did you want A room with a View?

Sounds like you are having a good time :) What do you plan to use the shed for? I'm doing fine, but at the moment I'm frustrated because I can't seem to find a good way to get the discussion together in my article...I need to use the reflection back on the hypothesis as a bridge between some background data and some statistical characteristics in the method - sigh, no flow in the text - that's why I'm posting here now! :D

EDIT: @Brink: So much maths? I begin to understand now why Southeast Asian students score so much higher than US and European students in international tests in maths and science....

@CE: Perhaps you could bridge the gap between hypothesis and background with a humorous anecdote from you adventures here on SYM? There have been a number of personality changes occurring almost daily, and I'm sure the many brain dissections you performed here gave you plenty of data! :p

But, seriously, taking a little time off so you can come at the article fresh is probably the best thing. Besides, everyone at SYM are happy you are visiting! :)

@Brink: See you next weekend, I hope :) Bye for now!

@Gwally: I'd like to see the face of the editors, not to mention the referees, if I used a SYM anecdote as a bridge! :D Nah, like you say, I think I'd better take a break and spam away here instead, it's 6 am here so I don't expect to get any smarter as the hours passes by ;)

Good morning all. Sorry I missed Brink's visit--could've used some of that Dwarven Volcanic Coffee.

I'm just killing time before the Super Bowl. I'm originally from St. Louis, so I have to root for the Rams, and still mourning the fact that the NY Jets could not get their sh-t together enough to make it to the SB. However, Vinny Testaverde--you are still my boyfriend, it doesn't change anything between us. I suspect I will be the only one in the bar rooting for the Rams here in Jersey--that oughta be fun.

So, what have you been up to all this while? :p
No, I've not fallen yet. I can resist the lures of the flesh...

Now in real life (: D :D ) I've been up to a lot. Beer, A-levels, work everything...

I hope your exams come out well and I'll see ya in about a week.

However, I'm going on holiday in a week. I'm a going to Espagnol for the sun and the swimming... :)

I'm sorry for your loss, VoodooDali. Too bad the Rams thought they could skate through in the first 3 quarters... -- I was rooting for them too, only because my inlaws live there, and you don't contradict The Colonel. :D

Personally, I hate the Rams.....****y, arrogant, and run the score up whenever they can. Even after they lost to the Patriots, Marshall Faulk said that the Pats didn't beat them, no team can beat them but themselves.

From where I sat, the Rams got beat. And I love it. :D

Yeah, the Rams thought they could breeze through to a win. Dumbies. ;)

But if they had won, I and my whole family would have received free t-shirts from the in-laws! :D

I am a lifelong pats fan and yesterday's game was a beautiful thing. I've already spammed up other SYM threads with my Patriots fanaticism propaganda and I'll not be stopped. The Rams choked, it still doesn't seem real.
