Magus and Aerie are standing together in the laboratory of the Planar Sphere, watching the progress of his apprentices. Magus is deep in thought.
Aerie: Why can't I come, my love?
Magus: This is something I need to find out alone. Stealth and discretion are required, and I'm afraid the two of us going together could reveal us. Besides, I need you safe here, where no one can harm you to get to me. Weasel is the sort that would do anything to accomplish his-
Aerie: But we're inseparable! I-
Magus: Shh, my love. I'll be back soon. I just need to investigate Weasel's activities. Rumor has it that he's after some artifact of immense power: one that could mean certain doom if he gets his hands on it. And he's very close...too close. I have to find it before he does...or someone else beats him to it. Now I must leave. Time is of the essence. (turns to leave)
Aerie: Very well, love. But promise me you'll return safely...or I'll come looking for you.
Magus: Don't worry, Aerie. I'll be fine. (Magus casts dimensional portal and vanishes, and Aerie goes to her room to lie down for awhile)

I didnt know, still, Bodhis a bitch and I bit her ass embarassingly easy in the game, I dont think she has anything to say about anything, **** man, we're löike super duper anyways, both well over lvl 30, she should be shaking when shes beside us.... Im going to figure out how to unlock the enchantments in those axes for serevon, just so you know, they're crazy good,....... "Axe of Mercy" and "Axe of Wrath".... has to be dual wielded, stats are ****len crazy.... hehe, I made em in the Infinty Editor, I think I have a right to put em in here.... But ****, you're just playen bodhi right, cuz we should kill her, shes ugly too, ****.... You want some special item??? I can make em, for the game and just in this little role playing we got going... Im a master of enchantments etc...

"A traitor?" Magus repeats skeptically. "I trust all present personally, except for Marya, but I know she is a trusted friend of Drakron" (reads the scroll) "Who gave you this? This goes into great detail about the operations of Bodhi's Guild, and their rivalry with the Shadow Guild. (reads on) And it says a person named Omar is responsible for Aerie's kidnapping! It seems that Bodhi's Guild has extensive dealings with this person..." (reads the last of it) "And it says that you, Drakron, have been relaying information to Bodhi."
Drakron: I would never do such a thing.
Marya (excited): Drakron is no traitor!
Alienbob, quiet all this time, finally speaks, "I detected a nefarious creature of evil in here just a moment ago. Something's up, Magus. I don't know if we should trust this guy. I say we leave now before this situation gets out of hand.
Magus: But he and the information his informant provided us, whoever or whatever that might be, are all we have to go on right now. (turns to Drakron) Drakron, I know you're no traitor, but perhaps this scroll and you both utter truth. Please remove your magical equipment.
Drakron complies, and Magus casts a detect magic spell. The pile of equipment glows brightly, but a tiny device upon Drakron's shirt glows as well. Upon closer inspection, it is revealed to be the anchor for a scrying spell.
Magus (handing it to Drakron): Here's our "traitor."

Edit: Everybody needs to be careful about encroaching on others' plots. Ubik and Seabass are reasonably upset. For this time, let's just say that one vampire has an ambition that exceeds its loyalty to Bodhi. Ubik: You can always kill that vampire off, and not too much harm is done by your alliance being revealed. Bodhi's operations aren't the main worry of Magus right now. Your operations can continue unhindered.

Sidenote: This is getting a bit out of hand. It feels like BG2 all over again...so many quests and so little time. The party of good can only combat so many foes at once! NO MORE SUBPLOTS! Any more newcomers can join an existing party/plot. Right now the main plots include Omar's, Ubik's, Weasel's, and the party of good's. And no more setting of tasks for the party of good until it accomplishes the ones already set before it (got to get the hell out of the CC, see Quayle, see Aran/Renal, rescue Aerie, not to mention curbing all the evil organizations springing up everywhere). So leave Magus and his friends alone and let them start doing some of these things!

Sidenote: Sure thing Fallout. I agree, it is getting complicated. Your character will be invaluable with the party of good surrounded by evil organizations. Sorry it became too much for you.

Sidenote 2: I've got to go now. I have lots of homework that needs doing. I'll be back tomorrow at 5:30 P.M. (according to the board times here) I'm sure many of these plots can progress without the party of good until then, unless Alienbob and Drakron want to take over for me (get us out of the CC, see Quayle, see Aran)

Alienbob- i dont like the look of this. i say we get the hell out of here before more of those vamps arrive. im not sure if we should go after Quayle either. its might be a trap. as i said earlier i dont trust this guy. i mean good guys dont get kicked out of the Order. maybe we should talk to Sir Ryan Trawl about this guy first. What do you think Drakron?

As the night falls,Omar leaves his residence after having cleared the place of all the traces of his stay. Outside in a dark alley beside the house he meets his servant,as expected:
---Omar:"Has Xzar's lab been cleared?"
---Servant:"Yes,master. But one of our spies in the city discovered something disturbing. It seems that the vampires have gotten word of Aerie's kidnapping!Even...even your name, linked to it,master!One of them even informed Magus about it!"
---Omar(explodes):"WHAT!!!THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!How could this have happened,after months of planning...!"
---Servant:"Please,master!Calm yourself,all is not lost.Magus doesn't know of her whereabouts and neither the reason behind the kidnapping! The vampire responsible for this has already been eliminated !"
---Omar:"What about the other vampires,then?And the leak?How did he or they got this information?"
---Servant:"That is as of yet unknown,master. It is unclear what they could gain by interfering with our matters. We should better leave them to the Thieves' Guild,master."
---Omar:"Very well,since we are leaving now for Spellhold. Once in there,we can play the rest of the game safely. What about our Dopplegangers in the Thieves' Guild?What's their status?"
---Servant:"Besides Aran Linvail and Renal Bloodscalp who have been replaced we control about a quarter of the Guild."
---"Do our Dopplegangers know not to fight the vampires?"
---Servant:"Hehheheheh...of course master!'Our' Aran has instructed them as you ordered."
---Omar:"If all goes well,Aran will have Magus running across the Sword Coast,buying us the time we need. And then,when the final moment comes....byebye Magus!"
---Servant:"What about the others?"
---Omar:"They will all have their share in due time!Let them squablle between themselves for a while. We must concentrate on Magus first!"
---Servant:"Yes master!Let us go,for our ship awaits!"

To be continued...

Finally they had arrived at the City Gates of Athkatla, the city of coin. Their journey had begun several days ago. A part from a couple of small incidents with a pack of mutated gibberlings and a few gnolls nothing major had yet occured. The purpose of their journey was of highest importance, and only very few knew it.

Theese were troubled times, times of great conflict. Powerful forces were in motion, forces that could upset balance and tip the scale too far to one side. The time to intervene had come, before things would get worse.

Jaheira the harper/druid and her fellow lover and companion Karembeu had been sent on this quest.

As usual when coming to Athkatla their first stop would be at the Copper Coronet where Jaheira would meet up with her long-time friend Bernard and discuss the recent happenings. And she was pretty sure that Bernard would have some helpful information that he could share with them. There were so many unanswered questions.

Who was behind this mess? Was it just pure evil and ill-will that drove Weasel or did he actually have any sound motifs behind all this?

Questions they were sure they would find an answer to, or at least die trying.
But first they would go and pay Bernard a visit......
