I see we're taking the English turn of the morning now?
No. Green tea, very concentrated, the one that has been stewing for at least an hour. The African way. It gets you going for the day.

Stop getting my hopes up!!!!

Let me relate you a tale!

Once upon a time, There were two Male Frenemies and a beatuiful Princess. One of the Males had a quicker reaction time, and built a great castle before the other one could. He called this the "SHG". They other Frenemy fell into the second in command position. After a while, they were declared even, and the castles name was changed to the Spam Factory. All the while, the Princess stayed in the castle, leaving only to sleep and eat. Eventually, the castle builder wanted a new castle, so he called the gods to burn down the original. The gods did it, and the Spam Factory was forever lost. So, this got the second Male all riled up, and he went off and started the Succeeder Stronghold. The original founder went off and pouted in the woods for a few days, but eventually he came back, as did the princess. They all lived (NBot so) happily ever after.

I still think it needs more man-on-vegetable action.

Or bunny-bumping.

Or SOMETHING.

lol ew.

Okay, I saw my life flash before my eyes today. Set-up: My parents (mother 48, father 62) have just returned from vacation in our stunning nation's capital, where they attended a great many museums and a zoo. We went out to dinner tonight at our favorite little Italian place, seated by the window. Out of this car, I see this old man emerge... with massive pecs! He had to be 80-something, and I thought he had these large breasts; I was flabbergasted. And, naturally, he had some woman with him probably just under half his age.

Anyway, the couple sit down across the restaurant from us, and my dad notices him and says something; apparently, the Host, who does a lot of talking, had mentioned this old guy before. Well, my mother made some scathing remark about how young the woman looked, and I made some reply about how that was hardly a surprise. Somehow after that, I wound up saying something along the lines of: "The age gap is visibly wider with them. Not like with you two." It was something like that, only a bit more... sharp, but I don't remember what exactly. Anyway, ten seconds later, I look up, and my mother is glaring atom bombs at me; my father began laughing, pushed himself back from the table, and said, "I'm staying out of this one." I had intended it to be a slur at how the man was visibly 80-something and had some young little woman; my parents decided to take it that I was implying my mother looked 60. If I don't show up for the next few days... call the authorities. My mother may have killed me. :speech:

Beofre even finishing reading this I looked at those ages and thought wow, not that it's real big difference or anything but 14 years is still quite a bit. My dad is 51 and my mom is 50. Guys marring younger women and vice verse is nothing new and predates most life on earth.

It's 13 years, actually, but I forget if that makes my mom 49 or my dad 61. There's this bizarre 13 year difference between my dad and mom, and then between my mom and my half-but-unacknowledged-brother, and then a 13 year difference between his age and mine.

The age difference between me and my 24 year old step sister is the same as the difference between my mom and stepdad.

Bah.
