Why can we not wait? Why do we need immediate results? I may be wrong but My God! So might they!! :( :( </STRONG>
What!? Just heard this too, watching CNN right now. What is this? Is the US making reprisals this fast? Or is it something else?

My heart truly goes out to the people of Afghanistan, as well to the people in US. :( Not only do the Afghanistans suffer under a dictator Taliban regime, now they are attacked as well :( By whom?

Right now they can't say where the missiles are coming from - the Northern Alliance can't be ruled out. As most of you know, there's a lot of internal struggle in Afghanistan as well. :(
But the US can't be ruled out either :(

@CE - please see my previous post. The sad thing is, there are cameras everywhere looking for incidents.

If there was a fire in central Paris would we be considering the French at fault? Just an example but jeez everything is so volatile... :(

I certainly hope it's not :(

No confirmation of anything yet.

The US reporter on CNN questions William Cohen (?) whether they are capable of pulling of such an act...it was not denied :(

Information from a 'certain' group were heard over airways to discuss this tragedy in detail....

We need more evidence than heresay...things are pretty desperate... :(

I just heard on the radio(on the way to class where I am now) that the astronauts on the ISS could see the smoke/dust clouds billowing up in Manhattan where the WTC buildings were. :(

If any of you want a better view into parts of middle eastern world.
I recommand you read " An evil cradling " before you make any judgments about anything.

Unconfirmed from BBC - US officials say it's NOT the US.

@justAidan and all others: I really hope it's not the US acting this fast :( Remember the missile attack at the chemical factory in Sudan :( It was later confirmed this factory had no connection whatso ever to the terrorists.

CNN says White house denies involvement. Thus, the attacks on Kabul are most likely part of the recent conflicts between the Talibans and the Opposition.

i went to go go give blood...3 hour wait, there were that many people donating.
it rbought a tear to my eye thinking about how my fellow man can stand up and do what is right and anythign they can to help our neighbors.

it's important to remember to not let this change our lives for the worse, btu rather use it ot make our lives better. realize how precious life and freedom is and take the time to show how much you love yoru family and friends. you never know what might happen...

I don't know if I hope it is us attacking Afghanistan or not; but I do believe it is necessary to handle terrorism in general with a lot more direct force than previously.

"It is not definitive but it is persuasive."

A quote on evidence that has been discovered that points towards Bin Ladin. Nothing is confirmed yet.
