For future reference, Magus doesn't have a backpack, as he is a weakling. Instead, he paid a large sum for a magic bag in which he stores most of what he carries. A magic bag is like a bag of holding, except weaker in enchantment. Things put into it still have some weight, and, unlike a bag of holding, it has a limited volume of contents it can carry. That's why he isn't hauling around suits of full plate and such in it; he only carries the essentials.

It's a sad thing, but I think I've lost much interest in my characters :( So, with that being said, I'll probably take a more occasional part of the story. I'll try and get something good figured out to contribute, eventually.

Aww crap...thats no good... :( I dunno, I still take interest in your characters. And your writing does really add to the story.

Fortunetly, at this juncture, your character's actions are not critical to those actions of the other members of the story

I'm sorry to hear that, but I kind of expected as much. Hopefully you change your mind. I envy you that creative flair, something that I seem to lack these days, and that the story could use a bit more of, perhaps. :)

Well, the story can't always be exciting.
Every story has those in between moments... but I know what you mean.

@tyb
Why do you think Gurney suggested too join the rest? :D

Heh, it'd look pretty silly at this point if my foreshadowing was wrong. But I think I'm right. And if I'm wrong, it'll keep the reader guessing. :p Regardless, I think it's about time to force a confrontation and move things along. The pacing of the story is getting to be just a little too slow. ;)

Thanx Magus. :)
My next post was planned to move the story on, but I was kind of unsure how. Thanx to you I have a good thing to work on.
It also includes the confrontation I was hoping for since day one. :D

Expect a post in not to long from now.

There, it's up...

@CM
She'll offer you an horse if you want to catch up with the rest, it will find it's own way back how when you let it go again.

@all
Rudar has been haveing problems, kind of serious stuff. So that's why he has not posted yet...
Hopefully he'll join in later.

No problem, Rob. Building on each others' inspiration is what this is all about.

Hmm...but I was expecting to be either completely right or completely wrong. Not a little bit of both. :p My foreshadowing, intended to add a little drama, instead sends a message that's kind of screwy. :rolleyes: I might do a little editting to make it...fit better. Don't worry, I don't see any of the dialogue changing...so the changes would be mostly stylistic.

Where is this lurker in the woods in relation to Acolytus and Gurney?

Rob-hin you play Alinda during this whole conversation. I am no good at playing to characters at once and of course i have no idea what you have in mind.

BTW why would i meet up with the group or look for it? Remember i am not part of the quest right now as i wasnt there for the whole big bang thing.

Well I think a good look at the burned-out Inn would be sufficient motivation. First instinct would be to return there, correct? Then you question some of the survivors, find out that we set off to look into the matter, etc. That done, no paladin worth his vow could resist meddling. ;) Even if he just decides to go confront the Baron solo, he could conveniently run into us without a whole lot of contriving.
