Tell me Mag, have you ever delved into the Appleton Estates. It's a fine rum.
On topic...
With all these orcs running around the middle of Faerun, whose going to be the first to inject the line, "By nightfall these hills will be swarming with orcs."
I'm going to presume the bulk of you know where the line comes from.

Crush enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of the women.
No. My friends mother owns a liqour store though. I'll ask her for some.
As far as that line, nope. Don't recall it. Where's it from? Orcs are no trouble my gnome will fry them on wheels.

"You can do whatever you want to me."
"Oh, so I can crate you and hide you in the warehouse at the end of Raiders?"
"So funny, kiss me funny boy!" / *Sprays mace* " I know, I know, bad for the ozone"

Actually, I don't know either, but for some odd reason, in response, the line "The hills are alive with the sound of music" pops into mind.
I really should get somethng to eat... lack of food is doing things to my sense of perception

Oh well, it's a line from fellowship of the ring when the fellowship exits moria.
DW, I sent you an email. Please use a reply all as I sent it from work and copied my home address. I'd rather keep the list of emails on the home account.

Yeah, movie lines. I'm cursed with a good memory for them. And I'd love to see where they work Julie Andrews into LotR.
How about it harms your psionic abilities and turns it against you, instead fo doing good for you.
@Ned: Wasn't that Aragorn's line?
Another idea would be having a hangover results in psionic effects like those of a wild mage. You're thinking about something but have no idea what's going to happen.
sytze, yes, aragorns' line.
@DW: Do you, by any chance, have found an online map of the area we're travelling in?
I know I posted a couple of links in this thread
I'm wondering if it wouldn't be a bad idea to create an additional thread here, to be used strictly for resources such as maps and the like, in order to save people from having to wade through the Discussion thread.
Given that some people, such as Demortis, are unfamiliar with the Faerun/BG2 setting, this might be especially helpful.
Okay EDIT, here they are:

I like it! We'll go with the alcoholic drunk trying to recover and sometimes slipping with bad consequences thing.

Maybe I am misreading this part, perhaps you wrote it in a way you did not intend, or you're posting the exact thing that you mean to post. Either ways, I don't think I've seen you post links.
Since I'm not always paying attention, it might be the last option...

lol! I assure you, I did post links, I know because I just found the exact post again
Anyway, to make things a bit easier, I have just set up a resource thread for us, complete with map links, I hope that helps a little

I am about to start composing my next post which will involve some interaction with orcs, possibly even spying on a few.
Have we put any thought thus far about the higher powers at work, namely, whose got this fodder all organized. It would also be nice to know if the orcs bear any type of mark on their equipment or flesh that might lend a clue as to the source.
In the long run, I would say it matters little because I think we're a few weeks off from all merging and putting any real work into an overall theme. Still, if I missed these details in past posts, it would be good to bring them up here for continuities sake.
thanks and good work all, it's quite an eclectic mix of characters. In the annals of Forgotten Realms lore, we'll go down as T'lainya and freaks.
