What do you mean by TLC ? (TenderLovingCare?)

Which came first, the intestine or the tapeworm? (William Burroughs made that question actually)

Do I have many questions?
I have a sinking feeling that I have to explain a joke. :o

1) BIL - Brothel of (Slating) Intellectual Lusts. Did you play Planescape:Torment? The abbreviation is mine.
2) TLC is a popular TV channel devoted to home renovation, remodel etc.
Would you not give your Tender Loving Care to the project of Tavern Beautification?
3) Do you have an answer?
4) Curiosity killed the cat. :mischief:

1) I understood the point you made, but I thought BIL was something that really existed. I haven't played Planescape:Torment, but a friend of mine has it and I'll certainly play it sometime in the future cause it must be a great game (even if it's old) from what I've heard/read. (My friend who has it hasn't played it though...)
2) Of course I would. The swimming pool idea came from my TLC part. I think that the statues of the patrons you proposed were somewhat ugly though (but very funny:laugh: ). I'd prefer a marble statue of the owner (DW), i think she deserves one (it's her place anyway).
3) I think it's a rhetorical question.
4) Yeah, but curiosity is also the substratum of philosophy... ;)

OK, you may have your marble Galathea and I will have my bronze shooting targets. Deal?

Uhmmm.... :o :o :o
It's a sweet gesture and all, but I really don't need a statue of me.. ;)

If anyone wants to show appreciation for the pub or something, just take a turn serving drinks at the bar or something like that ;)

:D You reminded of a great photograph I've taken. It's the bronze statue of a general who has extened his right arm and shows something in the distance with his index finger (probably the enemy that his soldiers must attack). Well, this arm is a great place for pigeons... But I thought there were no pigeons in your den...
If you don't like to have a statue, I won't construct it (it's your place, anyway, as I've said before)
But since you liked the idea of tsikoudia, I suggest you to also check out rakomelo, ouzo and tsipouro.
The grape pomace in northern Greece are called tsapoura (hence the name tsipouro), while in Crete (southern Greece?) are called tsikoura (hence the name tsikoudia). Both are clear-white, but tsipouro is usually flavored, while tsikoudia is not.
If you need some help with this place and a way to make more money from the vitamin C* lovers, I can take over the making of frappe coffee, which is a greek invention. I can also make good turkish coffee.
I quoted this from Wikipedia, just to point out to you: "According to the Sunday magazine K of the newspaper Kathimerini, Greece consumes about four times more coffee than the rest of the world, in proportion to its population."

That's because I take potshots at them with my sniper rifle (M1903 Springfield). I was bored. That's why I did it. :p

Hmmm... a cup? I ususally serve it in tall glasses, but if you insist I will make an exception for you :) (note to myself: remember to cut the straw so that it fits the cup). It looks better in a glass, though. ;) Also, you must tell me how much sugar and milk you want in it. Another thing you should consider is that the standard way of serving it is at very cold temperature (with ice-cubes inside). Of course, I could make it at any temperature you wish. :) But if you want a hot coffee in a cup, I suggest you try the turkish coffee. I think its the healthiest coffe you can have. ;)

I said I'd stop by, didn't I? Well, here I am.
I'll settle with some sparkling water, if you have some. I have no intention of introducing alcohol into my system. For now. :D
Oh, by the way, did anyone see a small gang of unarmed and demoralised raiders passing by in a hurry? One of them was carrying his intest... Oh, nevermind.
Anyways, I should get going. I've got some business to discuss with those fellas.

If you survive the whips, the snipers, the fireballs, the perverts, the drunk, and all the other dangers and foul magic that lurk in this place, I think you can also survive a cup (or a glass) of coffee. It would be SUCH A SHAME to be wasted that way...

Well, thank you. This is the kind of cup I meant, it is multi-purpose for hot AND cold drinks. :)
