No. to "My Last Duchess"
http://www.victorianweb.org/authors/rb/duchess.html
Thanks for the link.

I believe I am too intoxicated to follow the way everything was worded.

I never liked how old writings were done anyways though. Too much flower, not enough content. Anyways, I'm assuming it has something to do with a picture of a
former duchess who was too free with her charms, yes?
Interesting to see work done regarding the people ruling my ancestor's city during the Renaissance though.

, 'twas not
Her husband's presence only, called that spot
Of joy into the Duchess' cheek: perhaps
Frà Pandolf chanced to say "Her mantle laps
Over my Lady's wrist too much," or "Paint
Must never hope to reproduce the faint
Half-flush that dies along her throat": such stuff
Was courtesy, she thought, and cause enough 20
For calling up that spot of joy. She had
A heart -- how shall I say? -- too soon made glad,
Too easily impressed;
snip
Oh sir, she smiled, no doubt,
Whene'er I passed her; but who passed without
Much the same smile? This grew; I gave commands;
Then all smiles stopped together

Aha, so that was your point. :laugh: Bah, I'm not the jealous type as in that poem.

I happen to be a horrid flirt, I would be a hypocryte if I wasn't comfortable with similar behavior from my special lady friend no?

It was my point, and I think it was well made, though I say so myself
It is my experience that that kind of hypocrisy is not rare

*nods* Unfortunately, you happen to be right. I may be a lot of things, but one thing I do my best not to be is a hypocryte.

@ Ravager. Owl and ****y cat spoof on radio..."all we have been provided with is honey...in a jar. This poses problems since neither the cat nor I have opposable thumbs. Though somehow I can play a small guitar"

@Mag, it's not too bad, even though it involves celebrities - and I'm certainly no fan of celeb promoting reality shows and the like

. They have to make a case why their pet hate should be ridden of.
@Fiona, who was the celeb then?
Okay, I think I'm going to have an 'early' night then. See you two tomorrow.

I'm hurting, and contemplating going to sleep or waiting around to see whether or not I get to see what the hell was up with Lina last night. Other than that, I happen to just be listening to music and waiting to see who's around to spam with.
