*gasp* Such a self disciplined race!
There were only two mice involved in this (actually only the disguise they took) and that would have been interfering with the calculations of their computer (being Earth), no?

In principle of course you are right. And the parallels with Eden are all there. But it is a measure of how truly and disturbingly alien such beings are, if they can resisit the urge to tweak, especially over a long time span. I am inclined to think that any creator race/being would be tempted beyond the power to resist, really.....

The question is by the way "What do you get when you multiply 6 by 9?".

*nods*

Actually the conceptualisation of aliens mind-sets is the main reason I like science fiction. Though it is not realised well very often and you have to read a lot of rubbish to find good examples. I have not come across anything really good in quite some time

I like Larry Niven's universe and he has some good ones. The Kzin are good and Pearson's Puppeteers appeal to me greatly

The one I read most recently which seemed to me to do this really well was 40,000 in Gehenna, by CJ Cherryh- different from most of her books set in the same universe

Any good aliens you can recommend, if you read that kind of stuff?

Well, you could read the gap series by Stephen Donaldson. The portrayal of the alien race in it works well. I have said that before I believe. But though I do enjoy some sci-fi from time to time, I'm not really a die hard reader.

Alright, all of ya listen up!

Sorry to interrupt your government talk, but DR [Dragon Reborn] would like to know whats going on in the forum. And, he wont be on until [maybe] tomorrow.

I know, I know. Why can't you tell him? Well, because I'm too lazy to look through all those pages.

Soo, whats going on my friends?

Lies and slander are up by 16%, art critique is up by 4%, and general spamming is up by 78%.

*looks at Dragon Maiden suspiciously*

Dragon Reborn has been around long enough to know that nothing ever happens here. The message seems reasonable on the face of it. However it is my opinion that it is a cleverly disguised plea for help, designed to be recognised by DR's friends while deceiving his captors

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH DR, YOU FIEND!!
