I feel you. You like rum? Me too. I recently (last June) got out of a very serious and traumatic relationship that lasted a few years. It hurts to tell myself that there's no way to change the things that went wrong
and there's no way we(he) will get back together. I am very sad about it. It helps to have good friends to talk to though. It also helps to tell myself that I can do better than that (him) even if I still want him. I have been down with the broken virgin heart blues, he was my first love. I sacrificed two jobs to move away with him. But he just turned on me and gave up. GOD I NEED TO THINK ABOUT SOMEONE ELSE <sulks> sorry for blabbing on about it.

I have to work at 8am tomorrow, looking forward to it. It's cool cause I work with a chick named Mel, who's 20ish. We get along good and both have strong work-ethic of work first goof off with extra time. She is leading trail rides around the (farm) mountain this summer and told me I should sign up to do it too. She's nice.

Getting back to the topic of rum, I like Captain Mo's and C Mo's Private Stock, as well as Appleton Estate Jamacian and Mt. G@y Eclipse Barbados. Bacardi's not bad, but I'd go with one of my first choices. A good way to drown out my sorrow. --/

I just got out of two relationships this past year that ended badly. One cheated on me and I found out 4 months later and couldn't understand why I wanted nothing to do with her. That lasted a year, one of my older ex's was friends with her and we hooked up from it. Bad idea there, neither of them speak to me now.

After that, a friend of mine of 3 years had gone through the same thing with her long-time boyfriend so we ended up talking about everything and getting very close. Told me she loved me, blah blah blah. I got her out of her house and away from her abusive mother, abusive mother sent police after her, she went back to deal with it and I didn't hear from her for weeks so I got worried about her and started leaving messages. Apparently somewhere along the line she forgot to tell me she needed space, and forgot that she never told me. She wasn't at all happy at ending up with messages every few days for 3 weeks from me all worried and lost it with me. I lost my temper with her upon finding out she wanted space and had for those weeks and was screaming at me for calling her when I wasn't even aware of the change. Lots of yelling and yeah, that ended. Her friend started hitting on me and I said screw the whole group, three of her friends have gone after me over those three years.

So, a girl went looking for her friend from high school who happened to have the same name as my ex and found me in doing so asking about the girl. We sort of hooked up, wanted me to claim her as my toy. As I'm jaded with relationships, it's worked out nicely. She makes me happy.

My first love died on me, she's the girl in the picture of my avatar.

So, I can relate. Thats always helpful too getting along well with a coworker.

I found out the secret to making wicked strong rum & cokes. Grenadine. You put a little splash in, and double the rum, and all you taste is cherry coke. I likey my grenadine.

No, but I was at my mother's second wedding. I just went from being against drinking to pounding a liter or two a night of booze in the past year. College living and all... Oh it was fun. Blew lots of money on booze though...lots of money.

Thanks for the vote of confidence though! My friends love my parties, I serve drinks and cook gourmet meals while completely loaded.

I made a pizza last night, except, I'm hopeless at making a good pizza crust, so I just kept adding dough until it covered the pan, and turned out to be like 4 inches thick after cooking. It wasn't so good...the last one I made came out perfect though. The dough was so much more cooperative.
