It's a good thing my wife is coming home today....
Our youngest cat, Nala has joined a local production of Oklahoma I think. Her rehearsals have been starting about 5:30am the past few days. If my wife going to be gone much longer I think I would have shipped Nala out to her.

Well, keep it a few thousand miles away from me for one.

I just don't want to hear her caterwalling at 5:30 in the morning. Especially since Jasmine howled and whined until after 11pm in her kennel.

But, will the cat stop meowing at 5:30 once your wife gets home?

No, but she's grumpier in the morning so she'll throw things and let me sleep.

Yeah, we keep a water spray bottle near the bed in case they get too vocal. I just couldn't focus enough to figure out where she was to spray her. Maybe she's part ninja.

Ninja Cat!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My kitten has been getting on the bed and clawing me around 6:30 am. That's getting old!!

Maybe you should shut the door when you go to bed?

But, then she would be lonely! I like her to sleep with me, I just wish she would sleep later!!

If (s)he doesn't like to be under the covers, shoving them under for a few minutes makes them leave you alone. And a little spray bottle does wonders too.
No pictures of the kitten?

I posted her pic on Nexus, but here she is again. I need to charge my camera and try to get some better shots! Its blurry because I had the camera set on portrait instead of action!!

My mom's cat used to be terrified of the vacuum cleaner. Now, she's so used to it she will lie down and let my mom vacuum her fur!!

That's right, I've seen that pic before.
My cats HATE the spray can. But my dog ended up thinking it was a game and would try to eat the water. He does the same with the hose during baths.

Yeah...you find an effective detterant, then overuse it and they begin to like it...
