I saw Steeleye Span. And it was good. No it was marvellous.
And I saw Lunasa
And I saw the Chris Stout quintet
And the Celtic Fiddle Festival were great, and I hadn't seen them but they played Leaving Brittany. And they'd never even met me. This was very serendipitous

Hug? Do you play the fiddle or something???

I do not play any musical instrument. I have been asked if I have played the flute by certain people because of certain talents, but no, no musical instruments. Unfortunately, my gift of music is being able to hear a music and identify all of it's individual parts, and hear them working together in order to produce lyrics, never to play an instrument.

My ability to write poetry or lyrics was ruined after I wrote the two poems regarding the idjit who raped Pattie because he hated me enough to try pissing me off by raping my girlfriend. I have written 3 poems since then. It's been almost 5 years.

My aunt Helen could teach me to play the fiddle if I could deal with her sister the Catholic Nun. I cannot stand Catholics, and so, no fiddle for me. :(

Well then, you could think of dancing aye? I got laughed at for dancing. You know what though. Screw those people. I was having fun, and that is all that matters. No one else was dancing besides my brother and I and we were having a wonderful time. SO! I'm going to get my groove on. Right her. RIght now. *wiggles*

I just wanted to crawl out of the shadows here and take this opportunity to thank the two of you (Mag and Fiona) for engaging in some wonderfully readable banter. I've thought about stepping in once or twice, but I didn't want to ruin anything. I'm not going to comment on anything other than to say

"I really would like to see Mag dance sometime."

... Goodnight :D .

*Dances... Starts to feel embarrased, but just one look at Mag's "wiggling" is enough to reassure him*

*Stops dancing, runs up to DJ booth and punches the DJ in the face for playing nothing but ****ty rap music  *

Miss, "precise" doesn't mean "precious", there is a difference, and you fit quite well with the latter.

Tony, I do no blame you. I am listening to Tool at the moment. Regardless of what you happen to listen to, if you know music, Tool IS music. :D

Dear lord, I need water. :o I'd hump someones leg for a glass of ice water delivered right now. :o

They're ok, I have a friend who likes them but I only know a few songs.
Folk isn't necessarily my favorite either, but I love Bob Dylan, Townes Van Zandt and Kris-Kris: definitely much better than rap, though I wouldn't have any idea how to dance to "House of the Rising Sun*
