We all know what you said too. Slade's, Juni's and Ravager's PMs were all sent to the rest of us, along with myself's. Can you tell us why you want to close it?
Um... not to intrude, but I never got them.. :(

If someone would like to inform me of the whole issue, I'd be willing to listen...

:)

Let's not have the last posts of the SF be sad ones. We should remember all those hilarious (and quirky) times here. *nod*

Um... not to intrude, but I never got them..
*nod* I'm also feeling a little lost, but then again, I always seem to. :( ;)

It just . . . needs it. I can feel it. Its starting to wear out its welcome. This thread was started to be welcoming, and Im afraid it will become the thread that it was built to escape.

I look back at the old SHG (for those who didnt know, for the first 600 posts this thread was called the SHG, short for Styrofoam Haters Group.) and I laugh. I honest to goodness laugh out loud. I dont do that anymore.

Actually come to think of it I didn't either: I got chus's thoughts, but none of these others.
"Be thankful you're healthy."
"Be bitter you're not going to stay that way."
"Be glad you're even alive."
"Be furious you're going to die."
"Things could be much worse."
"They could be one hell of a lot better."

I'll never forget the time I invaded England with our horde of Aussie animals, or our mission to free Rav from the Elves that captured him and his Elfcatcher 2000 designs.

Heh I remember the time Rav, Slade and I all got drunk for some three or four pages and then it carried over into the HC... That's where this quote in my sig came from.

Or my first real discussion here with Hill about Fable and the Nature of Spam.

I dont have it still, though rav might.

Basically I was worried that the SF would become to big and be another 'Goody". If that happened, we would lose this forever. I dont think I could take that. I may lock myself in my room and suspend myself from the ankles if that happens. I can take it being closed, but I couldnt take losing it.

I miss the SHG days, we were Rebels, outcasts. We never knew where we would go next, and it was always something different. Nobody paid us respect. I liked it that way. :)

I remember Hill1's funeral, and the night we talked about my bowel movements.

Goody?

I'm not really in on all the spam lingo, so I often ask these questions... and just remember the old saying...

"He who asks a question is a fool for five minutes. He who doesn't ask yet doesn't know, is a fool for life."

Chu, as I have said before, there has been a series of threads on lower versions of vBulletin that have breaken much larger posting barriers than this. I wouldn't even start worrying about this until 100,000 posts!

@ DJV, Tony, OS: I thought I sent them to you all?

@ Chu: I thought this was supposed to be a thread without nostalgia? :D
Goody?
It was a thread in the BG2 forums, it got to big, broke the board, brought about the creation of SYM, and was deleted because of its size.

@Hill, no, though I got Chu's latest one relating to Sol, that's it.

And Goody, as the historian, you should know what that means in SYMian terms? :D

EDIT: Oh, I see. Well I really wouldn't worry about that Chu, there's no risk, and if there was, Buck would have said something.

Nope. I didn't get anything from you Hill.

My best memory here at the SF, I would have to say, would be dancing with you chu. :) *hug*

Nope. It was deleted when the board was purged in 2001.

Hmmm... I was so sure I forwarded them all. I archived them, so I might try to send them all to you again, perhaps tomorrow.

Thats what Im avoiding, Canadiano.

I feel a little rememberence is in order, regarding the circumstances.

And, this also deserves a fine Whisky.
*pours large glasses for everyone*

To the Spam Factory, not the thread, but what it stood for.

I would actually consider starting a thread called the SHG, but Ive used up my Spam Thread. ;)
