In the jail, a note was indeed left on the desk, but Karembeu had passed out on top of it. This is what it reads:

Boss --
I'm going out of town for a while. I should be back by tomorrow. Don't worry. I'm recruiting some help. PLease don't tell anyone where I am.
Loner

Brink noticed the letter once Karembeu's head rolled of his desk ( ), causing him to awaken with a headache as his head came crashing down onto the floor.Reading the letter,Brink felt a little more relieved at the fact that his other deputy at least knows what she's doing ( ;) ).

"Wake up,buddy.Looks like you won't be able to slack off today ;) ,"Brink helped Karembeu to his feet and the two of them prepared to make their daily rounds around the town

"Darkpoet is good at what he does. Someone hires him for a job, he comes in, does what he has and is gone. He just got out of Yuma state pen. All his former gang members mysterously disappeared. They did train robberies, fast jobs, left no clues. Took close to six million dollars, still haven't found the money. I know he had someone else, working with him outside the gang. Plus, he has shot mayors, governors, sheriffs, and marshalls. I had lost him until now."

Kramo, saw the amused look on Aaron's face. He just stared back.

Ooc: Darkpoet: Viv was being pulled away from her computer at work today, but is back now :) *hug* thanks for involving me :)

Vivalie stands expectancty in front of a mud puddle, not wishing to stain her dress, hand stitched by french nuns or italian patent leather shoes. Eventually it donned on Barak that she needed help, so he grabbed the nearest cowboy leaning against the side of Ms. T's store and threw him into the puddle.

Not exactly what Viv was expecting, but they managed to make their way across that obstacle, and many others, including a group of children whom Ivan had to frighten away by making his 'back side of a buffalo face'.

A newly painted sign caught her eye and she rushed towards her new store, excited at the business oportunity.

"Darkpoet!" She called happily.

"This is much faster than I anticipated, but we shall be turning a profit in no time. I just need a few couches for the ladies, maybe some vases with roses, a few mirrors..."

She smiled happily at Darkpoet and then began rummaging through the clothing.

"By the way, where did we get all this clothing? I dont' recognize some of the brands..."

Staring at Viv, as she goes through the store like a Texas tornado. Ripping off order's left and right. Darkpoet almost had to shoot her, but he didn't.
"Where did BT, get this woman?" wondered Darkpoet. Look at her bruisers, handing them the paper with what she wanted.
"Get to it gentlemen, don't keep the lady waiting."
After they left, Darkpoet answered about the clothing.
"Viv dear, this clothing is from all over the world. If you can find better stuff, we'll get it, ok?"

"Well," said Loner, sitting next to Kramo. "To make a long story a bit shorter, we're familiar with some of those train robberies you mention. In fact they were our only work for a while. That's how we first encountered this Darkpoet. Trying to stop him. There was an especially nasty one..." She stopped and shuddered visibly.

"Ahhh," sighed Tsai. "Those were the good ol' days, eh Blue?..."

Loner continued: "But the big reason we'd all like to get our hands on Ch -- Darkpoet," she said, "is --" She looked at Blue.

"He burned down a Cherokee reservation," he said, quietly. "Well...him and his cronies, whoever they were. We came to help, but we were too late. That's how we picked up Aaron, there." Aaron was sitting with his knees drawn up, staring off into space. "He was the only one who survived, and that was only because he was relaying a message to us when the place was destroyed."

Loner leaned closer to Kramo, so Aaron wouldn't hear. "His entire family was killed," she said. "He's your vendetta man, if ever there was one."

Tsai sat up and poured himself some more whiskey. "Now you know why we'd all love to get our hands on this guy," he said.

The sheriff looked at his drunkard deputy puking on the streets outside."That's what you get when you leave them to their drinkings,"Brink thought as he wondered wether it was wise to have left Karembeu alone without a task for the past few days.

Vixen decided to stretch her legs a bit. She was fed up of sitting in darkness catching glimpses of cards and getting eyed up by lecherous men.

As she stepped outside the saloon, the sunlight momenatrily blinded her. Upon regaining full vision, she spied a clothes shop. 'Hmmm, she thought, maybe I should spend my winnings there..'

After that incident,Brink gave his deputy a few mintes to recover before asking ,"Are you alright now?," to which Karembeu replied with some rather amusing sounds (to me,at least ;) )."I guess not.I think you'd better get some rest for today.Report back to duty when you're feeling better," Brink said with a smile as he led his deputy back to his home, making sure that Karembeu didn't puke onto his suit ;)

After she had determined the store might 'do', Vivalie felt a bit thirsty.

Turning to Darkpoet with a winning smile she twirled a lock of hair around her finger.

"I'm famished for a drink, could just die."

He apparently didn't get the hint, just continued to straighten what she had messed up.

"Well, I'll just get us some tea then."
She said with another smile.

By this time Barak had returned with some wild flowers, which would not do when she wanted roses. She sent him this time to the saloon, and he soon returned with a frosty tray.

She sat back on a chair provided by Ivan, and motioned the mysterious Darkpoet into one next to her.

"I know I seem a bit well, bossy, but I'm really just excited. I'm never allowed to do ANYTHING fun. Back home it was sitting, sipping teas with my Aunt and other acceptable people. But, I'm babbling. You seem so different to me, just like the dime store novels I smuggled in, tell me about yourself!"

She smiled again and took a sip out of one of the cold glasses which made her cough. What in the world passed for tea here?

Ms. T looked on in amazement as the new store went up next to her place. Well, at least they're not competing with my business, she thought to herself.

As the young card playing Lady walks out, another lady follows her out as well. This other lady (B.T. Dubya) heads to the Womens shop as well.

B.T. Dubya wonders if this young lady would be happy to know, the lady behind her has 42 sticks of TnT duct-tape on her(his) body....

Darkpoet sat down next to Viv, put his arm around her.
"That's called whiskey. I'll build you a kitchen in the back, so you can have your tea. I'll make sure, you get your roses. As for me, I'm just a wealthy business man. Who gets rid of the competion. Why are you asking all these questions?"

Brink: Hello :) I have five whole minutes before I have to go home to my computer-less house, but I'll make them count ;) How are you? :)

Vivalie heard footsteps and the figure of Vixen approached the store.
She motioned to Ivan.

"Assist the lady in please, and for gosh sake NO drooling over her, and please don't use your 'could frighten the paint off a house smile'!"

OOC @ Weasel
IC Ms. T smiles and waves to the sheriff. She sees a young lady walking past and says hello. She turns to say hello to the woman walking behind the first one and almost faints. Good lord she thinks, I've never seen a woman with that much facial hair!

On a break from rehearsal, Gigi heads over to the saloon for a drink, and notices a very odd-looking lady following the Doc's new recruit towards the new dress shop. Ordering a whisky, she takes a seat and watches with interest...

Vivalie blushed a bit and the smiled again at Darkpoet.
"Since you asked, I'm writing a book, a book on the outlaw women of the west. I tend to ask a lot of questions of everyone because of that."
She patted Darkpoet on the arm, and then stood up swaying a bit.

"Hmm...must be the sun. This whiskey is like coffee then?"

Darkpoet stood up to catch Viv.
"Ah no, whiskey is not like coffee."
Darkpoet shivered, as he wondered what she would be like drinking coffee.
"Why don't you sit back down."
