After your encounter with the Dryads that would hardly seem necessary

Looks like everyone's having fun
I've an Anomen related question, if anyone can answer it.
The romance seems to be going pretty well, and we headed have picked up Imoen, and are now in the Underdark.
About five minutes into it, Anomen suddenly said that he saw someone approaching who looked familiar... Now, no one came, perhaps because everyone Anomen could possible know is above ground. Have I missed something, or should it reset itself above ground?
Thanks in advance
Ev: Very good read
I look forward to the next encounters

When I had him in my party, he said the same thing. But, nothing happened. Then I wasn't romancing him either.(No flames please.) Maybe he's trying to make you jealous. I would make a seperate save and continue on.
Btw he drank all the wine.

Vivien: The very same thing happened to me in the Planar Sphere of all places. I began to think our knight had had a bit too much Tia Maria -- now he's seeing familiar folks in an alternate plane of existence...
It's just that the game timer has arrived at that event.
I myself went back to a previous save; but I have heard from people that the familiar figure will appear later, when you get out of Underdark/Sphere/wherever...

Maybe he has a split personality.

Thanks
, I'll keep in mind
THe thing is, I haven't anywhere to go, so I will just have to keep going...it takes a bit of time to do the Underdark correctly...
Also, when you're away after getting Imoen, do you lose your guild hall? My thief guild required me to check in every 5 days, but the journey to Spellhold took more than 5 days anyway! Any insite?
Darkpoet: Lol

I don't think so.

Interesting, that dialogue should be the messenger for the second time... Let's hope it still happens when you get out of the Underdark!!
I heard that stronghold quests are put on hold when you leave for Spellhold, so you shouldn't have lost it.

You are right Georgi, any side quests are put on hold. If you continue on with the main story.

Thanks!
Working on Chapter 2 now...
Trying to think of how to integrate Edwin into the story and who he hits on in BG1
It's a possibility
any suggestions?

Evandarian: Neat
I think he hits on Viconia a bit in BG1, but I'm not sure. (I've only played him in BG2).
What other characters are you thinking of adding? No, no, I'll wait..impatiently...until I can read it

*sigh* Anomen is on page 2!! That just won't do
Further to our gripe about Anomen not being supportive about having to work with the shadow thieves...
When Edwin sent me to kill that cowled wizard, Aerie whined about the fact we were just going to go and kill someone, and Anomen defended me... said a cowled wizard probably deserves to die, or something...

@Georgi -- when I played that quest Jaheira was in my party. When we went to the Sea's Bounty to look up that "traitor" thief, I chose to just take his dagger and not kill him. Then Anomen gets all over my case for letting him go, tells me I should have killed him. Then Jaheira says "Such a lack of compassion is unusual for a knight" or some such...and Anomen tells her to "Shut your worthless mouth, wench!"
I tell you, I had second thoughts about him at that point...

Ooh, I never heard that!!!
Guess Anomen has enough trouble convincing himself that he is worthy of being a knight, he gets a bit annoyed when other people point it out? (Kind of like when he fails his Test and Aerie hassles him about it so he kills her...!)
Interesting to know, thanks L

Strange, I just went to the Sea's Bounty and only took the thief's dagger as well. Anomen didn't say anything at all. I don't have Jaheira in my party at present though, so maybe that blurb of Anomen's is only triggered if Jaheira is in the group.
I had no idea that the thieve's guild quest was so easy....first time I've done it.
