The ship had left the Athkatla Docks over an hour ago and was sailing to Brynn Law with a pleasant speed. The company would reach the island probably over 4 hours or so,early in the morning.
Omar stood on deck and looked at the horizon the fading lights of Athkatla still visible. He wondered what Magus was up to now. Had he visited Aran yet? Would he buy the deception? That was one of the critical things in this whole scheme: if all went well then Magus would be chasing Slupor over the entire continent. Omar chuckled at the thought of it:
---Omar:"Hheheh,that will give us enough time to prepare and to perform the experiments on Aerie!"
A commoner approached:
---Commoner:"Master?"
---Omar:"Yes,what is it?"
---Commoner:"Xzar is calling for you,master."
---Omar:"Is it important?"
---Commoner:"He didn't say,master."
---Omar:"(Sigh) Alright,tell him I'll be there in a minute!"
To be continued...

- Footnote: Man, I'm totally lost. Work is getting on top of me Image.

Gruntboy gives into the 'domination' geas that Ubik has slowly been working into his black lotus. As a thief dualled to a fighter with all sorts of stealthy equipment (and a rather natty cloak), the Black Pig of Disaster (much lauded, even feared, yet to be used) and dual wielding two longswords, he should eventually prove to be a useful servant in the hunt for revenge. Just gotta find something to deal with that split personality of his. And now Minsc is dead, Boo just wont leave GB alone - sooo many hidden pockets to hide in his shadowthief armour. Heh heh. And when he eventually meets his careless demise, Ubik can bind his living-dead corpse to his ultimate will.

Take it away gen'lmen...

The party approaches the circus. As always, it is bustling with activity as the workers go about their business. Quayle is busy directing the action. It appears the circus is preparing for another show.
Magus (to the group): You guys wait out here while I speak to Quayle. (walks over to Quayle)
Quayle sees his approach, and greets him.
Quayle: Hail, Magus! I don't see Aerie among you. Has something happened?
Magus (grimly): Indeed, friend. I would have told you earlier, but I didn't want to cause you unnecessary pain. I wanted to go and save her myself... but circumstances have gotten beyond my control. Originally, she was kidnapped by the foul cavalier Weasel, whose progress I had been tracking. Somehow she escaped, but was again abducted by a mysterious foreign operative named Omar.
Quayle: That's horrible! I will join you at once in tracking down this nefarious-
Magus: No, Quayle. The people here need you, and besides, you know that your adventuring days are past. Rest assured that I will stop at nothing to get her back, or die in the process. My faithful friends here have agreed to help me as well. Omar will pay dearly for this...mark my words.
Quayle (sigh): Very well. I shall stay here. But if you ever need any help, you know I'm here. Aerie is like a daughter to me...I can't bear the thought of her being in danger.
Magus: I know. I must make haste. The trail cools as we speak. Farewell for now, Quayle.
Quayle: May you have the gods' favor.
(Magus returns to the party)
Magus: We must see Aran now. I must inform him of his newfound friends, and get his knowledge on this matter. Surely no one of importance could have slipped past his keen eyes...though I still wonder why I wasn't contacted immediately about Aerie's escape. It's unlike him to miss an opportunity to gloat over my shortcomings. I suppose the guild war has really drained the Shadow Thieves' resources. (The party leaves the Circus on its way to the Docks, and to the Shadow Thieves' headquarters.)

Sidenote: Hey Drakron! Won't you reconsider? I plan on getting us out of the city pretty soon. The party of good won't be much with only two heroes!

Sorry Magus but I am fed up with all of this, we got people joining the adventure that dont even bother to read the messages, some examples were calling me a drow(I am not, I even post my statistics after you or weasel made that mistake),make us going around in circles(I take us far too long to get out of the Copper coronet),made a mess of the story line,Put Aerie in a boat, well that is too much for me,I cant take it anymore.
And Magus I wonder for how long you will that to do the same, I am out, weasel is lost with so many subplots, Alienbob was so long out of the story ,and for last Ubik have change things in a way that I cant fix the way I intented to do with the Artifact.
Sorry I cant, Ubik destroyed this for me.
And Magus I am afraid that you will do the same if this goes like this anymore.
This was about rescue Aerie, now I dont know.

The old woman walks out of the forest with her shovel. It took her three hours to dig the hole and another hour to cover him up. She didn't know who he was, but he asked her to forgive him with his last breath.

Sorry I didn't control things more, Drakron. I don't plan to let anymore interfering with anybody else's subplots. And I certainly won't let others interfere with mine. It was great to have you here, Drakron.
Ubik: That was rather nasty what you did to Weasel. He may have had something totally different planned. I hope he's not mad.
Melosh-tar: You're encroaching on Omar's territory now. Aran the doppleganger is Omar's to control. You have made yourself the neutral go-between, and that role you shall have to continue to play. If you want something more, then join with one of the sides.
Weasel: I hope you're not upset. Being one of the original characters, you have the right to complain if this story is not going the way you want it to. You can always redeem yourself and join the party of good... Image We're in desperate need of recrutis!
All: No more new groups will be tolerated! We have the party of good, Omar's side, Ubik's side, and Weasel's side. If someone wants to really get involved, I suggest he/she join one of those four groups. All others will have to be content with a minor role.

Dead? If that's your will Weasel, then so be it. But I hope it was your plan for him, and that it wasn't caused by you getting fed up with the story. I'm very sorry if it was.

Hmmm...our story seems to be losing characters left and right. now its just me and Magus vs. Ubik and his dudes vs. Omar. It fitting that in death Weasel cheated us once more. He cheated us out of our revenge. damn. you know Magus this story is getting kinda lame. its just not the same with so many people.

Magus , It was my choose. When we all got started I stated I would end up dead. At one time I thought of joining the other side ,but figured it would be better for Weasel to die. Drakron gave me a way out but I wouldn't take it and I even gave my self a way out but didn't take it either.

Why?? It's my own fault for not setting no rules or guide lines. But is it my right to tell other's what to do. No it is not.

I have enjoyed this and have no hard feelings against anyone.

Notes: Just to let you know Drakron and Ubik both probably will not be posting here anymore. Why... Check out the thread 'How did you come up with that'

Nonstory
Weasel: I checked out that thread...I had no idea. I hope Drakron sees my message there. As for Ubik, I hope he reconsiders. If he drops out, we won't have much of a story anymore. The story stretches thin sometimes, but I always try to incorporate reasonable events into my plot. It may seem strange, but everything seems to come together in my head, no matter how weird the story gets. It's not very detailed (I must be flexible Image), but I do have a plan for my character's role in this story.

Alienbob and Omar: Do I at least have your word that you'll continue on? If Ubik and either of you drops, the story is pretty much over. Omar makes a good villain, and I need at least one faithful companion Image

P.S. Make sure that all of you involved have read EVERY post here before you attempt to make your own contribution. We cannot tolerate conflicts in these different plots. I DO intend to tie these together.

well im still in the story, but i dont know if thers really going to be all that much left to tell. as soon as the millions of subplots started up the story just went downhill. maybe we should start a new story. and if someone enters a subplot we dont like we can just ignore it or something. i dont know.
