Yeah. The Rams looked like they were asleep the whole game. I live in NJ, though, so I was not unhappy that the Pat's won. My real heartbreak was over the NY Jets loss to Oakland (the second time!!!).
Hey they beat the Raiders in the last game of the season.
Last mintue field goal.

Is that the enzyme that can only be found in SPAM?
What are the symptoms of this deficiency (caused by lack of SPAM)?

Hey, sorry to hear it, brother :( . My condolences to you and your family.

I'll have some shine..wait a minute, you can't make it 'cause you don't have a generator. :p How about an...Nope, you don't know the recipe for that one either. :p :p .

Since Beldin and Eerhardt aren't here, and since I hate drinking alone, I'll just stick with a nice wine.

Sorry to hear that Maharlika.

I can't believe that the Pancake Emporium is back up again! Who bumped it?

I will have The Old Hermit's Special, hold the smelly boots.

I've been playing Morrowind a lot the past week. What have you guys been up to?

Same old, same old, so how are you finding Morrowind? :)

It is addictive, but I have very mixed emotions about it. Baldur's Gate it is not. I think that if it had great NPC interactions like in BG, it would be a top game, but there is little to no NPC interaction. However, compared to the other RPG's that have come out since BG2, it is the best of them so far... I wrote some of my more negative criticisms of MW on the MW forum here, and got flamed like crazy. Luckily, Fable is there to protect me! I had no idea that the people on that forum would be offended by my minor criticisms of the game.

Why oh why can't someone make a game like BG??? Is it so hard to give us what we want? The best moments of BG for me were just walking along with the NPC's and listening to some of the conversations they struck up with each other--esp. the Jan Jansen / Keldorn adult diaper discussion.

At any rate, I do recommend buying the game. But don't expect it to be like BG2. The positives: fantastic graphics, interesting monsters, extremely non-linear game-play. The negatives: no NPC interactions, non-intuitive game-play (learning curve for this game is pretty steep), tedious travel (a lot of folks disagree with me on that one).

Just gonna keep waiting for NWN and Fallout 3 (if that ever happens) and hope that they live up to BG2's legacy.

My personal favourite part of BG1 was the exploration of areas, the feeling of freedom, so Morrowind will probably be perfect for me :)

I imagine Torn was going to be similar to BG2 but unfortunately it was canned :(

Some of the Modifications for NwN are probably going to be excellent full of what you want in your games, if not you could always make your own :D

All CRPG's will have to face the music and be compared to BG2 until something comes along and dethrones Shadows of Amn. Since BG2, I've played Planescape:Torment, which I found to be very good. Dungeon siege is boring, looks nice though. Morrowind has promise. I've only got a few hours invested so far and it still seems overwhelming. Playing a witchhunter so I've been running around seyda neen and surrounding area whacking crabs and slaughterfish and those hopping worms (name eludes me). I've been eating lots of herbs and mushrooms to boost that alchemy. Ready to start playing with enchanting items as well. We'll have to see what IWD2 does. Looking forward to a new infinity engine game; sort of bitter about the 3rd edition rules changes. I'm an old DnD guy; bitter enough with 2nd edition rules years back but now it's a new game.

oh btw, I'll have spam spam spam bacon egg sausage and spam, a couple of banana pancakes on the side.

@Everyone...

...thanks. My grandmom is still alive but she is not responding anymore, like, she is sleeping... we are just waiting for her to finally get her well deserved rest.

I wanted to get back to my country but my family adviced me not to and that my Lola will understand. Though she may not reply, I still told her I love her through the mobile phone placed near her ear.

After some serious workout at the gym yesterday, and reading posts here at SYM, I feel much better now. :)

I'm glad you feel better, sometimes it is better to talk about it and get feelings off your chest.

Remember that life is something beautiful, your grandmother lived and knew you, she would be proud, remember her as she was. :)

Rolling Thunder (TM) - The Mobile Party Thread

**the now silent Spam Emporium shudders with the vibrations of an approaching engine. Suddenly the back door is forced open by a blast of hot air. Rolling Thunder (tm) slowly backs through the door quenching the remaining flames of the shinethrower on its way in**

That's it guy's, get some breakfast ready. We're here for some celebration ! It's my 900th post we have to drink to !

**kills the engines and starts the reactors for some electricity**

Does this mean that Fable will be making breakfast from now on too? :D We don't have to cook if we don't want to?

I'll have a C.B.B., and maybe a crumpet.

Good aiming @Beldin! We made it on the first attempt this time!
