Fine...fine....

Heres a hit from 1979 :p

I Dont Like Mondays -Boomtown Rats

The silicon chip inside her head
Gets switched to overload,
And nobody's gonna go to school today,
She's going to make them stay at home,
And daddy doesn't understand it,
He always said she was as good as gold,
And he can see no reason
Cos there are no reasons
What reason do you need to be shown

Tell me why
I Dont't like Mondays
I want to shoot
The whole day down

The Telex machine is kept so clean
As it types to a waiting world,
And Mother feels so shocked,
Father's world is rocked,
And their thoughts turn to
Their own little girl
Sweet 16 ain't that peachy keen,
No, it ain't so neat to admit defeat,
They can see no reasons
Cos there are no reasons
What reason do you need to be shown

Tell me why ...

All the playing's stopped in the playground now
She wants to play with her toys a while
And school's out early and soon we'll be learning
And the lesson today is how to die,
And then the bullhorn crackles,
And the captain crackles,
With the problems and the how's and why's
And he can see no reasons
Cos there are no reasons
What reason do you need to die

The silicon chip ...

Tell me why ...
“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.

Yes. Lovely isn't it? Image
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

It began as a series of books. There probably *is* a cartoon by now, but the filmed version was released back in 1971. It gets raves today, but at the time it was almost universally panned. Gene Wilder, who played Willy Wonka and (I think) produced the film, can probably smirk at that.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

uh, I may have, like, left it lying around for a while. I would be mortified if it's fermented, because after all, we don't want to be drinking alcohol, do we?

Well......even for Eauropean standards, Neo is underaged, So for him, it had better be rootbeer from now on
