@Tybaltus: Yes, Astafas has a very sharp mind - and toungue, and is very funny
I think game preferences has a lot do to with why we play games. If I played games like I read books, ie to get intellectual and emotional stimulation, I'd probably try to look for the most complex and difficult character built there is, and focus on the strategy aspects. But as it is now, with the kind of job I have and all, I play games to rest my brain, "empty" my mind from all the questions and problems I am constantly working with. That's why I prefer to play a simple char in games like the BG-series, and that's also why I loved Diablo II.

My friends at school along with my brother and his friends played Diablo II often and I joined them. After a tough day at school, I had to relieve all the pressures and frustrations through hack and slash-ie killing the guts out of my enimies. Some people turn to drugs to solve their prolems. Not I. I turn to computer games to relieve such stress and get away from a sometimes very cruel life. But it works. I always feel better after playing, that is if I didnt die in the game.

@Heh, it is certainly much better to use games than drugs to vent frustration
![Big Grin :D](./images/smilies/)
I must admit I am seldom frustrated because of my work, research is sort of always frustrating so one gets used to living in a constant feeling of not knowing anything, not understanding why things are as they are, trying to find answers and finding completely unexpected things and not what you were looking for...it is a chronic confusion, one might say. My problem with my job is my deep engagement, I have strong work-a-holic tendencies and really need to force myself to relax, otherwise I might get a coronary heart disease at 40 or something
![Roll Eyes ](./images/smilies/)
So computer games offer me good relaxation
![Smile :)](./images/smilies/)
I need to focus on something to relax, just sitting and doing nothing doesn't work, since I find myself thoughts returning to my work in 10 seconds if I don't do anything

I assume @Heh means you forgot to write Tyb in between
Regardless, you are fortunate to have a job that doesnt frustrate you. If I had any job that would be, in any way, related to your job, I think my head would explode.

I'm back, and in a veeery good mood. The kids just gave me a necklace that they picked out for me while in Alaska. My folks bought it and sent it home with 'em to give it to me as a present.
That made my day.

Sorry about that!

Ah, that's what you think because you are not educated for it, I thought the same about myself before I spent equivalent to 7.5 years at uni to prepare for this kind of job! Anyone could do it with the right education, the question in only if one in interested enough and want to put so much into a job.
@BS: Hello, how are you today?
@Aqua: that is sweet
![Smile :)](./images/smilies/)
Your parents live in Alaska? Oh, I loved the place when I was there 2 years ago, unfortunately I of course only had time to see small parts of it...but I love that type of scenery, mountains and ice

Illl know my stuff once the season starts. Trust me.
After 2 seasons of calling the winner of each game of each week (excluding post and pre season) My record is-305 correct and 191 wrong. I wonder if Im going to better this season-my number to beat is 153 wins. This is a 62 percent winning percentage. I think I can do better.
