Try all you want, Fas, I'm in a good mood today; my colleagues (not the ones from the Helldesk) just handed me some free tickets to see a movie. I'll keep up my old tricks too :D ** orders an MC² too ** Cheers, Mah!

Nonsense, I'm a humanist myself and I suffer no illusions that basic human nature is basically nice and Viv-esque. Humanism is based on the theory that it is up to people to help each other rather than wait around for God or the government to step in and fix everything for them.

@Eerhardt-note they always wait until Beldin's not here and I'm not posting much before they try and convert you? ;)

"Free to pick"-tickets actually  - so today your last day? Paper all proof-read now? ** takes a drink from his MC² ** BTW, I'm not the bartender around here; Archeron is (Dusty covers for him, when he's not around) ** pours Fas another glass from the bottle ** EDIT - yeah, Ode, I'm in a forgiving mood today, so I don't take too much notice. It's not working though, is it :D

Ode: The idea is that every man and woman is good. I don't believe so. I think people are different shades and change or adapt through out life. Of this begs the question do humanists think man is born good and society itself corrupts man. But i think a little to heavy for rolling thunder! :p

Eery, up just finished printing it and making all the corrections. Boss is very happy with it, gave me a great recommendation letter and told me to take tomorrow off as i have no work to do.
So i have a 3 day weekend yeah!
I can now finally finish SOA and TOB - been playing that since i started working here in April.
Still in chaper 3.

Mar of course women need to be like that.
Since men need to make a healthy balance we don't need to follow in their foot steps.
They the angels we the devils! :D
Works well me thinks! :D

Sure, you may not be THE bartender around here... that's the whole point - you haven't realized your full potential yet. Image

@Ode: With or without Beldin, we would still continue to COMMunicate. Image

G'nite, COMMrade...

... and hopefully that de-synthesizing alcohol shot you took will keep you still in-line with your vow against alcohol --- like vodka among others...

@Eery and Kam: :p

No, the idea is that in every human being there is the potential for good and evil. You are quite right that 'civilization' is seen as a 'corrupting' influence, however that idea was typical of all Romantics, not just the humanists. As a humanist myself I'm pretty sure I'd know. ;)
Seeya my potentially good/evil friend. :D

@Mah-True, you COMMs do waffle on incessantly :p , but one can't help but notice that you only ever try and convert Eerhardt when Beldin's away.
