possible bug???

I like the program but hate it when it changes my experience points when i save the game.I lost 10 levels on one loading of the saved game.Most of everything else i have tried works okay but for some reason the xp is never the same from what i wrote down when i saved the game then loaded this editor.Running DL CE1.5.

Actually, IIRC, the Editor saves your XP to the next lvl as your current XP, and vice versa. Or something to that effect. You can work around this by adjusting your XP while editing your savegame. It has been mentioned somewhere before in this thread.

I was actually having the same problem.

Still wont work with CE DL1.5

i downloaded that version u posted but it says [cannot find the game dungeon lords please make sure u installed it before u use this] then it loads up and i click load character and click my charatcer but it says [restricted access please use jit debugging] i cant use jit debugging and i dont think it works for dl ce1.5 can u make one that will work for me thamks

so game editer doesnt work with win7 and does it work if i use xp mode and what is xp mode how do i get it

If this doesnt work for you...

on cpu go to librarys (where you can choose vids and pics) then to the left there should be something that says computer click that then choose the first one ,double click, then go to program files x86 then dreamcatcher then dungeon lords when your done find a folder in the dl ( dungeon lords) folder that says save not savegfx. instead of double clicking right click and choose propertys then something should come up on the top there should be something called compatibility click on that then choose edit this is what you should see somethin with checks and on top stuff that u need on top click administraters click and check all the boxes on the bottom as possible then click ok and ok again then your done when you run the editor if u havent registered the game (i dont know how) something will come up just press ok then load game then get back to dungeon lords folder then the save folder double click that then choose your game and u can edit it

When are the links going to be fixed!? I have been searching Google for Steve2d's editor for months! I finally came here and when i try to download, i get a 404 error!! Can someone please email me one or redirect me to a working link please? I am currently using a German editor which is incredibly hard to use hence it is in German. If anyone could help me, i would be greatly appreciative thx.

WRT the editor messing up XP points I tried to change the Adv pionts value and when I reloaded the modified save file I found thar the new Adv pionts value had been used to replace the XP. I had initialy about 66,472 XP and 12,245 Adv. The Adv was changed to 62,245 . I then found on restarting the game that I now had 62,245 XP and the Adv points value was unchanged.

That's a well-known "feature" of the editor.

I notice that there is a location in the editor and I'm kind of tired of running around so much to do these quests. Is there a map somewhere that I can use to reposition myself closer to towns?
