It doesn't really count being 2 in 1985, but being 14 years old at the time really gives a perspective at how tacky things were. Perhaps all old farts like myself look back at their years of adolescence and scoff at the fads and trends of the time.
Born in November of 1983. So that makes me 18.

@Rob No worries. I think this is the first quiz at a bar.

Well the song has changed into "19". That was the one of the strangest hits of the 80's. I like it.

I dressed the same way in the 80's as I do now, and wish the women did as well. :D

I miss those days  :(

All I regret was trying to moonwalk once. :D

EDIT

Well, it's not the quiz actually. It's what's it about.
I don't know anything about the 80's. :D

And McB, I'll gladly accept your beer.
I need to forget today, fast. :( I had a bit of an argument with some of my co-workers. I did get Thursday and Friday off, so the day isn't a complete loss. :D

When I was a little kid (like 6 years old) I TRIED to breakdance. This just doesnt work because I have absolutely no coordination. This paints a funny picture, and I remember it hurting a bit. :D

EDIT-@Rob sorry about the tough day at work, but isnt getting a free weekend worth it? If not, it must have really sucked. Hopefully time at the tavern will make your problems dissappear in the free alcohol we're giving you.

@mcbane,

18 in 1985!!!! Man, that is the worst. I couldn't imagine going to a college party and watching chics in leg warmers dance to the thompson twins. Ugh, it's revolting to think about. Thank goodness for you, drugs were just as potent then as they were in the 60s and 90's. Think about it, YOU could still be listening to the Culture Club.

There were a few gems in the 80's. I still listen to Howard Jones, his music still has that 80's flair but he was a good songwriter. I also dig Joe Jackson but he's goes back to the 70's as well.

I had parachute pants man. You must have had horrible flashbacks the first time you watched the wedding singer.

Flashbacks?? **McBane gets a glassy look in his eyes.....** Um, where was I?? Oh yes, college parties. We listened to more to the Smiths, REM (Before they went pop) U2 (I bought War the first week it was released) Squeeze, New Order....

The Thompson Twins weren't so bad..... As for drugs, I am not at liberty to say, however, $25 was all you needed....... :D

For some reason I got hooked on malt liquor in college. Many a 40 oz of King Cobra did I put away **sigh** Ah the good old days.... ;)

You like the Thompson Twins? Wahay! Ive got a compilation CD of their hits. I like about 10-12 of their songs. Pretty decent band. I really liked the song "Dont Mess with Doctor Dream." It was strange, funny, and had a great beat.

Pre 85 I listened to rap and heavy metal....For whom the Bell Tolls by Metallica is one of my favorites.

@AC Dont try and imagine it. It was just basically, me on my back spinning. It was one of the most pathetic things I tried to do. Not only did I not get close to even resembling breakdancing, it made me dizzy.... :( :D

@McBane Well Hall and Oats was Ok. I liked the hit "Maneater" but nothing else from them. Metallica was good, I like their 80's stuff better than their newer stuff.
