We're having elections soon for the head clerk in the nearby trading post, and me and my dad are going to try to rig the election. We're going around and collecting all the birch bark (to burn so no-one can find any; we don't like the old guy, he gives us bad deals) and pine cones that we can. As you may know, the voting system here is quite different from our southern neighbours. If you're voting for the person in power, you put a piece of birch bark into the voting box. If you're voting for the new guy, you put in a pine cone.
