Deztor's dad can't afford the lab. Dextor gives NASA IOU's. It was discussed in one episode in which NASA came to his house demanding 20 billion $.

My favorite cartoons, in no particular order:
Rocky and his Friends
The Simpsons
The Tick
Tex Avery's stuff for Warner Bros
Chuck Jones' stuff for Warner Bros
The UPA cartoons of the 1950's
Dangermouse
Rocky and his Friends
The Simpsons
The Tick
Tex Avery's stuff for Warner Bros
Chuck Jones' stuff for Warner Bros
The UPA cartoons of the 1950's
Dangermouse
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
Hell yes! Teknoman (Tekkaman Blade in Japan) kicked ass! I have most of the episodes on tape. I also miss the excellent catroons of the 80's: G.I. Joe, Thundercats, He-Man, Transformers, etc. They just don't make cartoons like they used to.Originally posted by Vehemence:

Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

@Aegis Duckman!!! I had forgotten it, but it rocked!
@Gruntboy Thundercats ruled! Are you telling me you didn't get up early to watch it on Saturday mornings?
Family Guy. Surreal, yet satisfying.
Simpsons, Futurama, South Park, etc, etc.
Dungeons and Dragons
Dogtanian and the 3 Muskahounds

Aye, we never had DBZ over here. I nay understand all the hype around it.
But me favourites be:
The Simpsons, though it be gettin' repetitive seein' all the ol' episodes over an' over....
South Park: Aye, all it be is killin' Kenny. I don't get yer point.

With Dagger an' Lance an' Sword an' Axe an' all o' them o'er wacky names.
An' Ringo! There were a Ringo! An' Balzac!
Do ye remember how it ended? I forgot.... I thinks Sabre, when he were dyin', gave Blade his crystal to go an' defeat that whatever-it-was, which was actually his father or mentor, I nay remember too well.
What happened then?
Oh yes, this one definitely ruled!
I hope I gets the chance to see it again one day. 'Twas truly a brilliant story.
What about Pokemon?
'Twas a joke! Stop throwin' stuff at me alright!

Wow, haven't revisited this old topic for a while!
I can't believe I forgot one of my all time favourites!
Eek the Cat and The Terrible Thunderlizzards!
Artist formerly known as the Pope: IIRC Darkon was Blade's older brother. His father was the guy who let him out while they were being transformed by the aliens... hence the reason why Blade was still good, not evil like the rest of his family. Although his sister (what was her name again?) was good too.
Sabre was sooooo cool! Real evil too... just what you need in a villian! I still remember when Blade got a really really big beefed up version of his tekno-suit and absolutely kicked ass! Sabre did the same, but that was so awesome!
Also, I think the creators had a bit of a beatles craze going. One character was named Ringo, another named Star... Ringo Star... *sigh*
Over here in Oz, Dragon ball Z finished for a while with the end of the cell games. I can't wait for the Buu saga to start! SS3 Goku! ooooooh yea!

Cartoon Law III
Any body passing through solid matter will leave a perforation conforming to its perimeter. Also called the silhouette of passage, this phenomenon is the speciality of victims of directed-pressure explosions and of reckless cowards who are so eager to escape that they exit directly through the wall of a house, leaving a cookie-cutout-perfect hole. The threat of skunks or matrimony often catalyzes this reaction.
