I don't know. *shrugs* It might have something to do with the fact that my Grandpa was physically abusive. I honestly don't know.

Yes, but he also abused my mum(when she was a kid) and grandma. In his case, it wasn't exactly his fault. He had diabetes for almost his entire life, but didn't know it until sometime last decade. This caused him to be somewhat emotionally unstable, which resulted in losing his temper and such.
I only remember one specific time that he physically abused me. I was about 5 or 6 at the time. I was being disobedient to my mom.(I wanted another popcicle, she said no, I threw a fit) He got mad and grabbed me by both arms and yelled at me to obey my mom. This wouldn't have been bad, except that he held me so tightly that I had marks on my arms from it and they were sore for a while and the expression on his face was the scariest thing I've ever seen. My mom imediately grabbed me away from him and we left.(I never did get another popcicle.

) We didn't see or speak to him for several years after that. It was during those years that he found out he had diabetes.
The men abusing women thing is something that I've seen and dealt with all my life. To give an idea of how inclusive the term is, here are some examples:
Boys mistreating girls(i.e., the early age where boys constantly treat girls as if they're some disgusting sublifeform(okay, so I'm exagerating it a little), older age where boys do things like "bra snapping"(I don't know if it was done anywhere else, but it was done in my 6th grade class. The boys would sneak up behind us girls and grab the back of our shirts, specifically in the right place so that they grabbed the bra strap and pull on it, then let go, the strap slapping hard on our backs, occasionally causing the clasp to come undone(which was almost always embarrassing

))
Men abusing/mistreating women(i.e., husbands beating wives, fathers beating daughters, men sexually abusing women/girls, men treating women like objects rather than people, etc.)
Some of those anger me more than others, of course, and I've learned to control my anger better. The main thing in all of it that angers me is "how can you love someone, yet constantly beat the shlit out of them and/or treat them like shlit?"

Well that is an interesting point, i think that people get love confused. Love is not about obsession or posession it is about being equal with each other and sharing experiences.
The term love is used so blithely nowadays, the whole meaning has been confused with so many other words lust, obsession etc.
I can not comment on the physical abuse issue, i have no actual experience on that subject.

Didnt there used to be a paladin named Jerome who "YELLED" and did the "SO SAYETH" thing all the time? That may have been on another board.

You mean like eating them or something? Well if you are God, then I'll be sent to Hell. Growing up in my Asian family, frog legs are considered treats and a very delicious thing to eat.
Why are you against eating frog legs, if that's what you mean?

Well, I'm not often in places where the boys would have a chance to do that and most the boys out here in Arizona seem to not be that mature yet.

LOL

Well most of them are ok usually, but I think they regress when they're drinking...

Drinking doesn't make that big a difference. I have been about as drunk as a man can get, and still always knew what I was doing at the time. I vividly recall every moment of being on my knees in front of the toilet.
