I love the idea of ingesting arsenic to make yourself look paler LOL, there is a form of cyanide in the pips of an apple fact fans. :D

The vampire myth probably came up in the celtic era, they were always thinking up crazy things like that.

There are all kinds of vampire myths from all over the world, every culture has its own version (some are really horrifying). I don't know if the Celts had one, that'd be interesting to find out...I think the myth originated in Eastern Europe/Asia and spread to Western Europe from there, but don't quote me...

Max Schreck, right? Terrifying indeed...have you seen "Vampyr" by Carl Dreyer? Good film too, made by an absolute genius.

Re the cloning thing...I don't think cloning is right period, regardless of good/evil person or whether the personality transfers...
