I'm a bit rusty on my info, but I know each race starts out with different stats, but I think when you level you're allowed to add what points to which attributes in your stats you want. Me being a rogue will have to invest into a lot of health. Although Size doesn't matter in being hit, I think, because some races do have special abilities. Like the undead can breathe under water, but all races are the built near the same, night elves aren't even given the extra night sight that their race is known for. So I don't think so.

A hint: beta testers say two handed weapons do mad damage. However, shields give you so much armor that you would be nuts not to use it. That you should wait 'till later in the game when you have more life and don't care about being hit so much that you should switch to two handed weapons.

Night Elf Druid.. (I happen to be in a guild).

Indeed, races have different starting stats (Strength, Dexterity, Stamina, Intelligence, Spirit) and all races have different advantages.

Stats can be raised by spending points on them (skill points if I am correct) or by getting items which raise stats. This (the first way, of course) is limited by a certain cap which raises as you level up (which is what I think you meant, Bloodthroe).

Anyway.. there are a lot of sites with information around (I am assuming you have checked http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/ and the beta forums already), with item info, where to find them, maps and info on where to find what, on races, classes and what abilities the classes have and the detailed information on these abilities. And screenshots. LOTS of screenshots (check out the new E3 info accessible from the Blizzard homepage if you haven't. Another example is http://www.war3.com. They have a huge screenshot database.)

Yeah, that's what I meant...in so many words and you assume right about the second paragraph in your post, but another site I like to visit is http://www.goblinworkshop.com/ , too bad the info is so freaking limited. Oh well, I figure it will be filled more around the time the game is released.

To all those who care. Here is a clip of the latest E3 gameplay footage of WoW. Ehh file size is 46.8 MB. URL I kind of stumbled on it. It's five minutes long though.

Wow, seeing that movie, I sertanly wan't to play the game, too bad you have to pay for it. Does anybody know more about the price you'll have to pay? Someone mentioned the "standart" $10 a month but is that true?

I guess I'll try Undead Warlock first, not for their looks, but I think they're cool.

Secondly, I'll probably do a dwarven fighter.
I guess I'll try Undead Warlock first, not for their looks, but I think they're cool.

Secondly, I'll probably do a dwarven fighter.
That's intresting. I think I've finally decided what classes I'll choose as well. First off I'd like to have an Orc Shaman and a Night Elf Rogue. Then if I can have the time to make more. I'd choose an undead priest and a dwarf warrior. Alas I don't think I'll be able to shift between 4 characters. Unless I spend more time on the game then I want to.

Basically I've decided either to have one character on each campaign (horde and alliance) or two characters on each. I chosen the races that I think will have the most intresting gameplay. Although Orc and Night Elf are my favorite so I'm definatly getting those two characters.

Although I'm excited to learn all of the classes, because they spoke of being able to branch off into specific classes. Like a hunter can become a demon hunter. So I'm wondering what a warrior can become and so on.

I'm gunna have to say a Night Elf Hunter. Night Elves have my kinda style. And it wouldn't be bad to have a little companion around you. Just let your pet fight while you stay back and make a pin cushion of your enemy. For a second character i'm gunna have to say a Human Mage. Though i hear that they die easily...i'm sure it all pays off with the power they have.

Dwarf, dwarf or dwarf.

Bah! I certainly ain't playing a girly elf, or a snotty gobbo!
Tauren would make nice pets if only they were house trained.
And don't get me started on those arrogant humans....

Anything over 4ft and without a beard is just a target.

Cheers
Stuntie.
