I've dealt with getting PK'd when I played a lot, one of the reasons I stopped. I'd start up a new character and be around 9th or 10th level and have someone 3-4 times my level kill me and everyone in my party. I eventually got sick of it when this same person decided to sit in the game I had made and kill anyone and everyone joining it and took my roommates character he was playing in hell with and just squished him and decided I was done with the game.

im not a cheap item scamming bastard (unlike most people on HC!!!) and i only duel people semi-close to my level. (70ish). I play on HC and its fun and challenging. But, on HC, when you die your character dies forever.....

Yes, that's why I think PK:ing is even more lame HC. Duelling is completely different, then two players or clans decide to duel, it's a choice. But I am strongly against going around and PK players who haven't done you anything. The worst in high-level chars who PK low-level chars, like Magrus described above. Utterly immature in my opinion.

It should probably be noted that many people think that "pk" actually refers to duelling (which is wrong!). Though high-level vs. group of low-level PK'ing is lame, it is quite enjoyable if you actually beat the high level character .

theres nothing as satisfying as dueling and winning on hardcore! I have a nice collection of ears.......and NO! not from PK-ing!

Duelings fine in my book, I used to do that when boredom struck with my old roommate. We'd level up to 9, and then tear each other apart and go back and forth playing and dueling. It was fun.

P'K is an entirely different matter though. That's just randomly dropping into a situation and attacking everyone. The time I was trying to beat the end of normal mode and a lvl 78 sorc jumped into the game and slaughtered everyone was just idiotic. I hopped back on with my Teslydin I made, I think he was 54th level or something and wailed on her. Squished the character and then switched back to my old one. A minute or two later everyone was back to playing again, and that same person and three others roughly that level came back and killed us all again. There's no point to that. I already showed I could paint the walls with that guys character with mine a lot lower level. That's just petty of them IMO.

wait.... some1 mentioned ver 1.11 coming up soon. when does it come out? Ive been busy with KOTOR 2 latley..
