All of that content would be duplicates anyway since all of the previous news and comments have been imported into the new design. It's just wasn't possible for me to switch over to Joomla and still have vBulletin recording all the news and handling comments.

There is the news archive page if you want a listing of all the latest news, and then there's the "Latest Viewer Comments" section on the homepage. What I might end up doing is creating a full page summary of all the latest comments, but that's going to have to wait until I get through other pending issues.
I will admit that I would miss the news section of the forum if we don't get something similar. I was accustomed to seeing the news from the forum overview and commenting on them.
Having to visit a news archive/front page of the site will make me not read the news - and I loved reading the news and commented on them and they sparked discussions ..... in fact I think it is where I posted most lately.

I'll miss the news forum.

Alright, I think I finally have the security token issue resolved. Please let me know if you run into any other error messages.

As for the news forum, I can totally understand that some of you will miss it. Once I get more of the pending bugs ironed out, I will look into setting up some sort of all-in-one news page that's somewhat similar.

One thing I wanted to get away from, though, is a total dependency on vBulletin. Our old news was spread between the CMS and vBulletin (with two separate static pages), and the total views among them was not as high as what our current homepage-only news is receiving. Having everything in one place has its benefits.

All timestamps for news look similar to this:

Come on, man! Bring back the news forum. I can't use that new comment system... it's... unnatural.

Does the Latest Viewer Comments box not display the newest 2-3 comments for anyone else (but rather the 3 through 12 or 4 through 13 newest comments)?

It does that for me, too.

"Major" Issues:

Forum Related
- Banshee Network Drop-Down Menu (Broke)
Displays only "Gamebanshee Home" and even that doesn't function
<<< FIXED >>>

- Unable to travel to other parts of the site from the Forums
I was trying to navigate to the Dungeon Siege Site (Link: Dungeon Siege @ GameBanshee) and i was unable to find any links from the Forums. This maybe related to the Drop-Down Menu issue above, but the Forums for now seem to be "detached" from the rest of the site.
This might be known (as the Forums/Site are being updated and seperating the two might be best in such cases) but i thought i'd mention it just in case i am either missing something or it is an unknown issue that needs to be looked at
<<< FIXED >>>

- Broken Links
ALL the top-menu links appear broke.
Games Home / Reviews / Blog / Trailers / Cheats / Downloads / Online Games / MMOGs
They all redirect me to the webpage i am already on

"Minor / Cosmetic" Issues (feel free to totally ignore this section)
Browse All RPG's
- The Gamebanshee Logo's are not uniform throughout the site. The one on the Forums Page needs to be placed here too. Long live the spirit of Gamebanshee in her Logo/Banner. :)

==========================================================

I'll come back on later to find more issues. Got to run now though. Keep up the good work, and i am liking the new layout!!

:)

Edit:
Were the Forum issues fixed by Admin, or was it just my computer not loading up the pages properly yesterday? Either way, the issue seems resolved as the drop-down menu now appears to function.

Shall look on the site for more issues.
