There was a thread on this recently after the Guild was founded. It's a dangerous subject for discussion, but it's in all Blades' best interest to be generous and share a lot.Originally posted by Fas:

I would be wary of setting to many rules for such a thing as distributing of "hoards".
IMO people should use common sence, if you don't like to share stuff you can't use, well maybe a guild of this type is not the place to be.
But I would not like to be in a place/guild were everything is decided for you by rules or peerpressure.
Let commen sence guide your actions IMO.
But I'll also like to say, that you can't expect people to think the same way as you do - especially since we cover all alignments and classes, there will be conflicts of interests but then avoid said people. If you as a ei. Paladin have difficulty with some evil members, then avoid these members, there should be plenty of room for us all.
The same goes the other way arround, just because you play some "evil" character, don't run around an poking to the "good" characters.
(all the above is IMO)

Well you still have to role-play, so adventuring in public with evil-aligned characters would properly not be the best thing to do

As a pally they better stay clear.
Or i might think they are the enemy as well.
I will most likely be soloing it any way in the first few stages.
I find this 2nd character getting beaten up and checking out the dangers for the real character interesting.
Can everybody do this?
And are their an specific rules which i have to follow?

You're second character should not be anywhere near your first character. The reason for 2 characters is so the players can try different classes and alignments etc.Originally posted by Fas:

You must not use 1 character as a "mule" for another, a scout, to raise your other character if dead etc. you'd most likely either get a stiff warning or get banned if discovered by aryle dm's.

AH hell i will stick to one character.
Less problems!

Ok would it be possible for me to use my first character.
Until he dies and they start my "real character"?
And never raise my first character, or use them at the same time?

Well there would properly be no problems in that.
Also AFAIK the 2 character system, is 2 characters at one time, not in all.
we must also remember that our guild will most likely not be creatable untill at least some of us are lvl. 6+.

To save othersOriginally posted by Xandax:
As Nippy said, you can't use your second character to save your "primary" character.
These characters must not know each other - they can't be in the same guild, and you must not "meta-game" (ei. your character 2 learns of something ingame - you must not as a player assume that your character 1 has this information)
This will be hard, and I wonder how Argyle
DM's will control this

Well that would also be meta-gaming, and should not happen

Your second character is supposed to be in another part of Argyle and completely unaware of the first or anything having to do with the first.
I don't really see the big point in this, actually... Especially considering Argyle will probably full already.

If you want to get rid of a guild, better get the Clerics first. Then their money (so they can't pay churches to raise their Clerics). Then kill all the rest.
