Thanks, everyone!
Xandax, do you want to go to Rhino with it or should I?

That is up to you - Argyle has a PM system somewhat similar to ours that you could use, or just mail it to me, and I'll present him with it.

I have sent an email to Rhino along with the Narrative I wrote. I've copied it below. I'm hoping he'll at least suggest changes that would produce a history Argyle could use, instead of disallowing the whole thing. Keep your fingers crossed.
Rhino,
Xandax tells me you are aware of the Blades of the Banshee. We relized a need to
explain, in game terms, why we know each other and why we work cooperatively. I
had an idea that I presented to the group, and they liked it well enough that they asked
me to flesh it out. I wrote a narrative that shouldn't clash with anything in your written
history, and it was very well received.
The next step, of course, is to present the concept to you and the other Argyle DMs to
see if we can get your approval. We understand that we will have to wait until we've
met the pertinent game requirements before we can establish a guild, but it seems like we
should have an in-game reason for our goal. This narrative should give you an idea of
what we are trying to achieve, so now we would like to ask you for your advice. Can
our history become a part of Argyle's history? Is there a better way for us to fit the
Banshees in? Have you got any other suggestions for us? Any help you can give us
towards establishing our characters in Argyle would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Saigo

Just let us know any news you get. If they turn it down, it won't be because of a lack of effort on your part.

Yeah Saigo it was quite a good history.

Here is the initial response from Rhino at Argyle.
Greetings Saigo
Very interesting history, and well-written. I'm
going to pass it on to Pranker and the two of us can discuss how this
fits with current plans that are underway in the Big Picture. I'll let
you know what he thinks as well.
Sorry for not being at your message board more often, I've taken on some
new clients and am way too busy to have as much fun as I did for the
summer

Whoah Saigo, didn't know you could be so polite
Well the initial responce seems promising, it would indeed be good if they could incorperate some of into their stories, or the other way around work some of their story into ours

Awesome work, Saigo, and a promising response. I will certainly be willing to change what is needed in my Bio to fit it to our story. It will be good to be together with you all in-game.

Here's the response from Pranker:
Message title: Banshees wail!
Well...they seem like they would wail ass anyway.
Nice write-up Saigo, I like it. I'll be chatting with Rhino about your guild, seeing where we can fit you in. Theres enough unique history you've written up that we would either have to adopt it or change things. Dont know yet what we will do, but I'm sure we will be in touch with you.
Again, well written, and welcome to Argyle.
See you on the boards!
Pranker
Sounds like they might be open to the
idea, anyway.

a question for you Saigo. Were the original banshees a human organization? What about the acedemy...did it mix races?
I suppose i have a hard time thinking of a gnome or halfling as one of the original banshees...and i wonder why a dwarf or elf would have gotten themselves involved. As an academy, i can better picture a blend of races, but what do you think, as our talented historian?

joe, according to Argyle's history, the non-human races were subjugated at the time of the Banshee Brigade's slaughter, so, no, there would not have been a mix of races. However, the way I see it, the Zomallians were more tolerant than the rest of Argyle -- they would not have opressed the other races.
And the Academy, like public schools in the old South, would have integrated over its 500-year history. At the time of the Academy's destruction there was a reasonable mix of races, and they got along better there than in the rest of the world. They had to learn to trust each other with their lives.

Nice job Saigo.
They're gonna change their history to fit ours? Pretty cool. You must have really impressed them.

Wait a second. They said
if they used it, they would either have to make it part of their history or make changes to ours. Still, I think they were happy with it. We'll see if they were happy enough.
But thanks, Thorin. I'm glad everybody seems to be pleased with it.
