In I Enoch, Azazel taught man how to make weapons, among other things, see here. He meets a rather sticky end in chapter 10.
Gilgamesh is an ancient Mesopotamian hero, the Noah-figure in an earlier flood story, among many other heroic deeds... Also Marduk was the god who was responsible for the subjugation of the Leviathan (the primordial beast of the abyss), thereby creating the heavens and earth.
