We can in Neverwinter, and that was what worried me...Originally posted by /-\lastor
Buttt a paladin can cast spells, can use magic weapons and armor and is better in combat in the beginning, and lets face it: how many times do you really get to lvl 20?
What are you gonna be in NWN

I have played many P&P-session (also 3rd edition), but I have to admit I have never played a monk
. What is so damn special about it?
(sorry if you feel offended
)

Faster movement, great saves, evades everything, hands like weapons. Personally, I don't like playing monks much unless I'm in a PnP group, for the roleplaying possibilities; but powerplayers enjoy 'em in standalone settings for the reasons outlined, above. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/)
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
My very first PnP character was a monk, I loved the character but I kept on dying the whole time
, mostly due bad rolls, low hp and partymembers shooting me in the back in narrow dungeons. My BG II character was also a monk (I played PnP for the first time just before I got BG II, still a novice
) cos of my first char, and my NwN will prob'ly be one again.
I'm not evil I'm morally challenged
