"100/-" SR?

You ARE familiar with the D&D rules, right? It's not like in IWD 2...

well, that or you just start at such a level, or find a DM sanctioned loophole... for example if you wish for XP, and the DM gives you an encounter geared towards your current level that will give more then enough XP to compensate... you can just do that over and over....

Or you could aquire some artifect...

Or you COULD actually play for that long, its not that hard, you often level every 1-3 gaming sessions? (if they are intense), well just play every day for 6 monthes and you are level 80... no problemo...

Well, say that you DID actually get to lvl 80 which is still very unlikely, even the gods would be owned by these PCs, there would be noone to stand in their wake and they would just walk right over legendary monsters like demiliches, great wyrm prismatic dragons etc. What would be the point with playing then?

at level 80, actually LOOONG before that, a pc is EXPECTED to reach godhood himself... some of the gods have become so by arising from mortals... but on the quest to become gods, the pcs will have to deal with gods who do not wish to share the power... evil pcs will plot and scheme with one evil god against the other, because there is no way they will survive with no allies, good pcs will have to ask the help of good gods... regardless evil and good gods might actually unite in an attempt to stop the pcs from reaching godhood, it all depends on the DM...

IF you do get there... then you will indeed not be playing your standard game.. that game will be played at the umbra, in the largest interdimentional city, in the crossroads, the city where godlings from all dimentions come, populated with countless godlings, and creatures that put even gods to shame!

That or you can just go and have fun doing non level related stuff... design your own world... craft your own dimentions for it and then import some creatures and plants from other universes, and create you OWN subject races to populate it (its actually rather simple, look at the example epic spell origin of species..), then perhaps have adventures where you, the god of a budling universe, protect it from those who will consume it for extra power, or go off to adventures between realities... the options are endless... if you really think that the only way to play DnD is go fight goblins... then you are really missing out!

Oh I will recommend unearthed arcana: nymphatic magic (blue magic) to anyone... great read...

Oh yea and to properly craft your own world you will need a ton of creation epic spells, those take a ton of XP to research, and the stronger (or rather, better ones) take a bunch to cast too... couple that with XP "income" from your living followers... maybe say that it can only go towards using such spells, or maybe only for spells and up to a certain amount of XP per year gain from it.... and you have a VERY interesting result... creating things like your own demons or angels or dejin or whatever is also possible, it is all accounted for, it will again take TONS of XP to cast those, but they will allow you to deligate tasks... you could fight other gods for their followers... etc etc...
