Thank you everyone, looks like I'll be very busy on Monday then ;) , I'm really looking forward to seeing it, but don't let it get in the way of your real life, its only a game after all.

@Lordzod, it would be considerably more conveniant for me if you could email me your dialogue, so that I can just insert it into the game, rather than what we were going to do before, which was me sending you the .esp file, unless it is over MSN messenger or something similar, since I'm working on a few other NPCs all the time, and tweaking something here, or something there are so forth, and I'm already going to have to send it to Nobody for scripting purposes later on.

On that topic, Nobody, you know that after a certain bit of dialogue the script to move an NPC to one place, and unlock a door has to happen right? If I include details of this when I send you the file for cleaning, can you impliment it then?

As a little side note, Ald Velothi was a hamlet, Khuul was a village, Maar Gan is a town, I was originally planning to do Caldera next, but unless anybody had any objections, I wanted to tackle Ald-Ruhn instead. It'll be the hardest of all the cities we do, as its about 2 of Vivec's cantons added together, and we'll do those one at a time. I have an idea of how we might break it down, and I'm already writing one NPC per night for it, so that we have a head start. It will be an huge task, but I was thinking we could break it down into four 'mini Ald-Ruhn' towns. 1 Guilds and pubs, 2 Under-Skar, 3 Shops & Temple, 4 People in houses and walking the streets & Silt Strider opperator.

I will try to recruit more people before we start on Ald-Ruhn, but hopefully, if Arno can help out with it we'll have a team of six to begin with, but I will still look for more.

Hey I just saw this the other day when I was checking out the Summit. There is currently a mod out there called Less Generic NPCs: Seyda Neen. Was that by you guys or someone else? If it isn't by you guys you may want to check it out for some ideas. I haven't yet though, in case you want this to be 100% original.

That was our inspiration for the project as Blake says, not all the NPC's are replaced, and I actually prefer our Khuul mod to that one, but we won't be doing a Seyda Neen mod, kind of to show our respect for this mod, but also because its less work!

Hello all, I'm the noob here - arrived after a request for NPC dialogue writers. I guess first job is to fire the game up and go see who's who in Maar Gan before choosing one.

First of all welcome to the team. :) Its good to have you with us, the story I read last night was brilliant, and if you can bring that sort of thing to the project it will certianly be very valueable.

We've got the list of them in the first post of this thread, so you can see which ones are still avaliable.

For starters then, I'd like to do Aerin in the tradehouse as she seemed to still be free, if that's OK? I think she's the master trainer for light armour if I remember right - my vampire, the big bad Basil embraced her just so he got better prices! I had to look all over for her, as he took her home, and I couldn't remember which home! ;)

I'm pleased you enjoyed the story - some of my stuff is a little... on the steamy side... Aliens being my first love, closely followed by Morrowind!

That sounds great, I'll edit the original post now so that she becomes your NPC. Your diary of a Xenomorph is really something else. Which of the four films is your favourite? My guess is Alien or Aliens, since Alien 3 and Resurection were botched. I personally like the second one, although they are both great. Anyway, I'm getting off topic, so I'll stop now. :)

Hi, im new here, got information about this project on the official forums, modding section. Seeing the NPC list, I see many are already taken, except 2. Maybe I could get Saryn Sorathril, the master-at-arms of Redoran to work on. I rather take 1 NPC at a time, just in case I cant do both, at least I do 1. I rather do 1 quality job than 2 mediocres. ;)

Give me green light and Ill go work on it.

Thanx! :) You are quite correct - Aliens is my all time favoute movie ever, closely followed by Alien. Aliens was the inspiration for Diary of a Xeno - I started wondering how the Aliens themselves viewed it all, so decided to do something from the queen's point ot view. The sequel is VAST, epic novel sized and not quite finishe yet - still got a few chapters to go before it's done!

Back on topic - I'll get stuck into Aerin's dialogue over the next couple of days - usually once I get started, the problem is stopping me writing half a novel! :p

Hello folks, yet more fresh blood (ie me!)

I'll start work on that :)

Since all the Maar Gan NPCs have been assigned, and Ald-Ruhn is so huge, I can't see any problem with us starting on it if you're one of the new people on the team, and you can't do any of the Maar Gan NPCs because they are all taken, I'd appricate it if you'd be able to start on Ald-Ruhn.

The list of NPCs we'd need work on in the coming days is below:

Malsa Ules female guard in Venim Manor. PUZZLED PLAYER
Varvur Sarethri male captive in Venim Manor, son of another councillor. PUZZLED PLAYER
Tidras Deltis male guard in Venim Manor - SCOTT
Nathyne Uvelas female guard in Vemins Manor PUZZLED PLAYER
Idros Givyn male guard in Vemin Manor NOCTURNE

Anyone who would like to take a crack at these NPCs, you will need to write 3 responses for House Redoran, response 1, the player is not a member, response 2, the player is a member. Response 3, the player is head of House Redoran

We will also need two responses for the new topic of Bolvyn Venim. The first one if he's alive, and the second if he's dead. Bear in mind most of these guys are Venim's personal guards, and will probably think Redoran has gone downhill since the player killed Venim and took over. But maybe not.

Reply here if you're up for doing one or more of these NPCs
