If you were to browse you would find that I have posted a few replies in the past few weeks on this site and never have I had any problems such as this. If you feel that I have tried to "fool" you in anyway
Mythalos, my last post had nothing to do with fooling anybody. Since you bring it up, it had to do with boasting and insulting, then discovering that one's wrong, and backtracking. I quoted your own words in it, and I think they weren't out of context, either.
And the purpose of that post was to suggest that a little less bragging and sneering on the front end might make your position a little more tenable when things didn't pan out--as they didn't, here. It seems you haven't gotten my point, yet, but of course, that's your choice.

Oh I understood your point to it's fullest Fable. I am merely pointing out that I did not attack a specific person nor a general populace for that matter.
I was slightly annoyed at first that my post was regarded as "useless" because I failed to give a detailed walkthrough of my accounts. So naturally when one gets defensive he/she can "appear" haughty-taughty. I then became angered when my integrity was challenged.
Now I feel that this post has shifted form a harmless post to one of bickering, and a slight battle of wits between you and I Fable. It is a mute point and rather silly at that. I am sure that you will agree now is the time to forget this post ever existed so we can all move on with our lives. Agreed?

mythalos if you had just been open and truthfull in the beginning rather than being boastfull and giving patchy hints, things would have been easier both for you and all the other people who use this forum.

I decided to e-mail Bioware and see if it's possible to getthere without a cheat. this was what they responded with
"Hello,
The area that your referring to is part of a dream sequence during which
you battle another slayer. Once you advance far enough in the game you'll be
taken to this battle."
So you guys tell me what that means because I am not quite sure. LOL

It means you can't get there through natural means (walking). I suspect it's the background for one of the dream sequences during which Irenicus tries to convince you to become the Slayer.

It is possible that you get this dream depending on how many days you play. Most people, myself included, finish the game in less than 40 - 50 game days even solo...it may be something that gets triggered at the tethir forest only if you've played past a certain number of game days?

Your kidding me! I have well over 80 days. I hope that's what it really is then.

Wow! I'm in Ch.V still. It is 16 o'clock, 167 day, and i'm still in Underdark (rescued that drow priestess just now, though).

Location and surrounding events, Genesis, since to trigger further events (including dreams).
Once, for instance, I decided to try those master thievery potions on the third day in the Thieves' Guild, just to test a theory. I repeatedly stole, sold and restole an expensive item, working my way up to 30,000 gold pieces.
No sooner did I set foot outside the Guild before Bodhi's servant was there, asking me to visit her. Yes, the amount of gold you possess (rather than the length of play, quests completed or party members) triggers the Bodhi event. Interesting.

Interesting...since I've never had a game go past day 50 or so, that could be the trigger that is missing.
Now that we have another clue, has anyone been able to duplicate it yet?

Umm i think everyone knew this....once you have 15000 gold she shows up even its day 1

Yeah...or hour 7. For some reason, the fight between the Shadow Thieves, Irenicus, Imoen, and the Cowled Wizards seems to take 7 hours. With imported equipment it's pretty easy to sell 15000 worth at the shop upstairs...or, in a normal game you can go upstairs and get the potions of master thievery, head the the thieves or Roger, and still have a fortune within an hour.

Do not make haste
I try to explore all around and leave nothing unknown behind, if possible. So, for example, i cleared all dungeons in Underdark before going to Silver Lady. BTW, have secured my (now completely!) Keep even before ventured to Spellhood, expect a sound capital waiting at my return
Rested a lot in places with high probability for unasked guests (BTW, the spot in Underdark where you should have to dispatch the Balor, spawns plenty of nice Umber Hulks periodically - how you, man, may have a normal rest here?). Now i (Kensai(7)/Mage(16)) am going to meet the Matron
All my old friends with me ... Nalia hitted 16 level as mage ... Iomen still 13 ... Jahera, the half of my heart ... Ariel, the second half ...we'll never be parted save if death or Bodhi... well, Minisk is here, too, level 16, i guess (i've taken a short vacation just now, haven't seen him since last evening). Life is very interesting, IMHO, where to hurry. Let us enjoy human life of free adventurer while it is possible
May your Protection from Evil never wear off,
L.
P.S. Note, however, i have never seen Umar hills nor any grove still

Yes, but almost never rested more than 8 hours at once.
Listen, there is a world to live in, not to run through. It is why i take BG for RPG while Diabolo not.

Exactly! You should take your time and "smell the roses" or in BG terms "smell the char-broiled flesh" from that fireball you just cast!
I do not however rest until I am healed. I merely take my time, and use only spells and/or potions that I bought. I do not use cheats to heal my party.

Never needed. It takes a lot to properly scout an area. Save unavoidable ambushes supposed to be such i try to hit as snake - fast and deadly. If it is necessary, of course, it is the last measure for me, according to character i'm playing. So, i have never used fake talk or cloudkill in the dark.
Best wishes,
L.
