Hence the saying: one countries hero is anothers mass murderer!
Fortunately i always try to keep an open mind, even when it involves tales/history/lore from my own "homeland", i advise others to do the same!

fav clan
Definately malcavian, they are so hilarious to play and genious dialogue options and stuff, played the game 2 or 3 times with them (can never get threw Lacroix must die tho ) and their convo's never get old. Second favorite would probably be Gangrel or Brujah.

My favorite clan to play would be a malk or a ravnos but you cant have ravnos in this game which kinda sux. I like the malks cuz im crazy and so are they and it gives the game a twist because half the time you ask a question to answer someones questions so it makes the interaction with the npcs alot different then just sayin yes or no. and you get this cool dementation dialog and you can scare ppl with psycho babble.

Ventrue or Gangrel are definetely the best, both in PnP and the game. I like fortitude, its always great to tank your way through these games. I also enjoyed using dominate in conversations, trance for stealth missions and mass suicide for the swarms of human goons.
For Gangrel it was all about animalism. Using pestilence to get rid of swarms of people and watching the bats burst through people, plus both of those did good damage to bosses (80+).

Tremere. Definately Tremere.
If the Ventrue are the kings and queens of the Camarilla, then the Tremere are the power behind the throne. You can embellish the achievements of the Ventrue if you wish, but for all their politicking and fancy wordplay they still can't hold it all together alone. Who stopped the Assamites? (For a while at least.) The Tremere. Who were powerful enough as mortals to wrest the power of the blood from an Antideluvian? The Tremere. Who restricts the spread of the Kue-Jin? The Tremere. Fear the Warlock, but honour him too. You owe him your unlife.

Brujah or Gangrel. In that questionaire to automatically determine your clan in the beginning of the game, I got Brujah. On the other hand, I like to think I am more like Beckett than Damsel. Beckett and Jack (going on the questions he answered in the Last Round) I think I have the most similarities too. Plus Jack and Beckett were by and far the characters I liked the most. Unless I could count Grout, I didn't like the vampires representing their clans (VV, Jeanette, Tung & Gary, LaCroix, Strauss).
BTW, Docking thanks a lot for that information, it was very interesting. You too Faust

Malkavian:'LIFE IS INSANITY, what more is there to say?
Nosferatu: The thing i like most about clan Nosferatu is the way that they stick together and know how to look past the "pretty faces" of the ventrue and the Toreador yet the camarilla needs them so they are indispensable.
That and Gary and Bertram Tung are two of the coolest guys in the entire game (i love listening to Bertrams opinions about the clans and i kind of agree with all of them)

If I were a vampire in the V:tM universe, I would most likely be Nosferatu. That is the clan that most closely matches my style and personality. If I answer the questionaire at the beginning of the game with complete honesty, I end up Nosferatu every time.
However, that doesn't answer the question this thread poses. My favorite clan, the clan that appeals to me the most, is Tremere. Theirs is the power of the Mind, rather than the Body, and that appeals to me. I have always preferred character whose power was not derived from raw physical prowess, but rather from a keen intellect and years of devout study. Anybody can swing a sword or fire a gun. But who else can make someone explode and take out the entire room with them?

Assamite for the win, played this is my main character in TT, yet in Bloodlines, I played my Tremere-Knifefighter.

in bloodlines: tremere, they canadjust very well to any kind of situation and the range of there powers makes the game even more interesting
in PnP: Gangrel, Ravnos (unfotunly there arent many) and tremere.
Gangrel, they are strong, resistent, independent exelent assasins and protean well its good for fight, good for travel, to hide when its realy needed and you not even need a haven...
Ravnos, the masters of illusion what else i need to say
Tremere, for the same reasons i like them in blodlines and more, there powers are even more interesting what you see in the pc game is just a litle sample of what they can do, i also like the way they are seen by the other clans..."can we trust them?
one more thing: what i didnt like in bloodlines is what they have done whit the gangrels...

What I find fascinating is that very thing. The character analysis. If I answer the questionaire honestly, I always come up Tremere. I also happen to be a full-on computer geek in real life (How full-on? Yesterday I wrote a JPG to SWF converter in 3 hours, working from spec. That full-on). It's a perfect fit. I'm a sorcerer, and the game chooses to make me a sorcerer. That Q & A is a truly wonderful piece of work. It's almost as spooky as some of those personality profilers.
Oh, and you don't have to be Romanian to know the history of Vlad III. Some of us westerners actually do have an unjaundiced eye. What I always found fascinating was that Vlad Tsepes was the voivode of Wallachia, but Dracula is supposed to be from Transylvania, which just happens to be the location of Vlad Tsepes summer estate. Oddly enough, the summer palace has become the tourist trap. Almost nobody visits his ancestral stomping grounds. Bram Stoker kind of screwed the Wallachians on that one.

Interesting that you can get Tremere every time. I've tried changing my answers to see what clans I get, and I've only gotten Tremere once. I have never managed to get Malkavian or Ventrue.
Well... Since the game insists that I should be Nosferatu, I finally decided to play as one a few days ago. I'm finding it thoroughly enjoyable. As I suspected, this clan matches my style and personality to a T. I may just have a new favorite.
I'll go crawl back under my rock now....

My favorite's probably Malk, since that's what I get answering the questionaire. Kind of strange, since I'm not crazy in real life, and none of the answers I give are something like "laugh maniacallya and paint yourself blue". Still, it works for me, since I like to use guns (difficult as that can be early on in this game), and Malks have decent stats in skills and mental. The ideal vamp for me would have 1 point in all of the basic stats instead of 2 in one of them and none in one; I don't want to be a dumbass, a weakling, or socially inept, but I don't really need to overdo it on any of those either.

Mine would have to be Brujah to play in bloodlines. Simpy because I liked to hit things. lol. Seriously, I just liked their stat distribution during the character creation and so i went with them.
My favourite to watch is the Malks. A friend of mine had a kook and we would save before most conversations and laugh at all the possible options. It is truly magnificent to behold such lunacy.
If i were a Vampire in the VtM universe: Gangrel. Hunters, loners, survivors, Beckett. What more is there to say?

Only Tzimisce and nothing else!
When I was trying to choose the best clan for me I wanted to be a Tremere at first but when I started to read about Tzimisce I knew that's it!
I am the Tzimisce elder :>

Did you know that Vicissitude is actually a parasite from another dimention that steadily takes over the hosts body?
One of the missions of the true black hand is to wipe out this plague.
Do you still want to be a Tzimisce.
On a side note i wonder if the Odius chalace would infect the drinker?

Less a "Parasite from another dimension" and more "The antedeluvian of the Tzimisce clan slowly swallowing all it's children and those who intake their blood to swallow the earth in a tide of flesh and blood and transumte itself into the ultimate being.. A God purely by the virute of the fact that it is all life."

So far I've finished as a Female Tremere and a Female Malkavian, and I'm currently playing as Male Nosferatu, Male Gangral, Female Toreadore, Male Malkavian.
I've yet to try the Ventru or Brujah so I can't really comment, but up to now I think the Malk is the funniest to play but the Tremere are the most enjoyable, I'm struggling with the Nosferatu though!
