Actually, in all seriousness, I often don't have the highest opinion of counsellors, shrinks and the like. No offence intended to CE here, I'm simply going by several encounters I have had and a few experiences that have happened to friends.
One woman I know went to see a counsellor because of relationship problems. The counsellor actually informed my friend that her infidelity to her spouse, and that of her spouse to her, was symptomatic of deeper, underlying tensions in the relationship....
It's so nice to know that all those years of schooling produce such insightful practitioners..

Personally, I have only ever encountered one counsellor who has been good.

You have trained ninja cats? My cat just eats and sleeps and glares at anyone who comes near her. I couldn't bring her with me when I moved, the people I live with are allergic and my family doesn't pay her any attention. I used to have a girl that was trained. Sad I don't anymore.

You must remember to relax your arm. If you pull a muscle enlightening all of the young men who wish for erm, fun with leather, you'll have to cancel all of your appointments. It's far too easy to pull a back or shoulder muscle doing such things as well. What is with these people wanting to be whipped?? It hurts like you wouldn't believe. (stupid filter ruined my corny word)

As for hurting, surely thats the point

A little pain is ok, but having your flesh flayed isn't. I'm not sure these people realize what it is to truly be whipped.
