Plus his turn undead ability gets absolutely nasty after he's gained a few levels. In the Temple Ruins the shadows literally explode, with him just standing there turning undead.
Precisely, I mention that in my original post as well. He may also take care of Bodhi's gang all by himself (if you like to see a Shadow explode, just wait til you see a Vampire do the same!), if he's only high level enough.

Technically you can blow Bodhi up (and Kangaax too), given you have the right level. Unfortunatly Bodhi is (I think) a 30th lev, so you need an higher lev. cleric to blow her up.
Not possible in SoA with a party, maybe a soloing cleric (with ToB)?
But should be also seen if that doesn't couse problem to the game (she isn't supposed to die istantly, but after a speech, and the same with Kangaax).
An evil cleric could charm her (them), and once charmed she can destroy her own army and then you can deal with her alone!!

Oh come on. Not to be rude, but his party isn't exactly good and yet he's not interested in making any changes at all. Untill the opposite is proved, I believe he made this topic to brag :P

The thread is named best party, but I actually think tha chosen only wants suggestion for better equipment, because beeing already ahead in the game (he is in chap.6) he doesn't want to change party, but just impruve the actual party.

Digression folks, let's get back on topic, shall we? Chosen, did you really want better suggestions for party members or party equipment for the members you already have?

I'm sorry if I made my point unclear, but I ment both: equipment for those I already have and if you have some suggestions for a new party member, you may say that too, I welcome your oppinion Just one thing: I refuse to get rid of Jaheira and Keldron.
PS: please, good folks, stop calling me for *he* I am a *she* :D

Oh, but why didn't you just say so? I'm at your service. ;)

Keldorn, Jaheira and a Fighter/Mage then... Add Jan for the fun, the traps and the mage spells. Add Anomen for the romance (if you play a female character), the cleric spells and the turn undead ability. Finally add Mazzy for her fast shooting arrows or Haer'Dalis for his blue hair and the advanced bard song.

Stop calling him for a *Keldron* He is a *Keldorn* in that case. :P

And as long as you don't show any signs of being a female, how are we supposed to know as a majority of the gaming scene are males? ^^ Anyway, now we know, blaha blaha.

And as it seems to me, you refuse to get rid of anyone, even if you could make your party way better with some changes.

As I alredy said, I want to keep KELDORN ( :p ) and Jaheira in my party. There are three places left for suggestions

Me-fighter/mage
Jaheira
Keldorn
-------?
-------?
-------?`

Is it clear enough now? :)
IMO it does indeed. He got less spells alright, but he will stand his ground much better in combat. His high STR (To Hit and Damage bonuses), CON (HP bonus), the Fighter THAC0 and the ability to Grand Master (*****) make him a far superior fighter. So it really depends on what you want, a pure spellcasting Cleric or a more fighter oriented one.
He hits nothing in TOB, and probably also by the end of SOA. His fighter capabilities are a waste IMO.

@the chosen one: if you need a thief, get Jan, since he's inarguablely the best in the game (Yoshimo is also good, but I hate traitors).
If you need another arcane spell caster, get Edwin. He casts almost twice as many spells per level than Imoen.
Or instead of having 3 mages, you can get another fighter (Korgan, Mazzy, etc).

I, personally, am one of the few (judging by the reaction on this site) that don't like using Jaheira, but since you're intent on keeping her...

your best party, of course IMHO,
1: F/M (you, but of what alignment? and if you're F = only romance is Anomen w/o mods))
2. Keldrorn
3. Jaheira
4. Yoshimo, (highlight for possible spoil), yeah, I know he betrays you, but up until that point he is the best NPC thief. Imoen fills in adequately until you get back to "civiliation" and can pick and choose.
Gets up to roughly level 16 before..
5. Edwin - yeah he's a jacka** but he's also a very good mage.
6. Rotate characters to fulfill quests, with no regard to keeping them

P.S. All this is relative to how YOU like to play.

That is not my expererience. Maybe you should try to let him Grand Master in your weapon of choise, and give him a good one of those. You should also buff him up with Draw Upon Holy Might, Righteous Magic etc, as you would any Cleric. Clerics have the second best THAC0 table - if you can't hit at all, you do something wrong.
