In some ways, I view it as the difference between communicating directly with a deity and employing a priest as an intermediary (regardless of whether you use an astrologer or whether you learn the codes yourself).

Tarot (IMO) is far more about intuition and searching inside. I use a very visual deck (the Haindl), and those highly powerful images, if I'm in the right frame of mind, act as a key to unlocking my subconscious. At least, that is how I view it anyway.

I woke up and saw the title and realized I hadn't seen it yet. So, I read through it and couldn't help giggling at what these came up with for me.

A friend and I once made 15 dollars in lunch one day pretending we were psychic and doing "readings". It's amazing that someone actually handed us a dollar after they heard the first load of crap we threw out based on how the kid dressed and what patches he had on his bag.
