That axe is most definitely an artifact, which with those powers, is probably the favored weapon of a mid or greater God. Should it come in to your possession, the ego of the weapon would overpower you, and you would become a tool of the axe, not the other way around. The axe would realize it had more fun (killing more powerful foes) with the immortal, and will drive you right back to him/her. You will be slain and forgotten!

Exactly, and what an adventure it will be my friend, what an adventure indeed. Sure, my morals will disintegrate and Greed will take over, but hell, you only live once , right?

Question:

I play a fighter/mage and now have apprentices. Why can't I create magical items while my apprentices can?? Very odd.

Hey Ron. If you find time to do this that would be great, if not don't sweat it.

"Barbarian Sword of the North"
Two Handed Sword
Damage= 1d12 +5
Thaco= +3 bonus
Special Abilites: 35% chance of doing double damage and 20% chance of doing a certain amount of ice damage, your call. And a 25% chance to turn spell casters into squirrels.
Only useable by Barbarians

Ron; E-mailed my weapon request. Whenever you get time (my character is not quite 'ready' for it yet).

A modified Dak'kon's Zerth Blade (Anatres' Edge) in 2 handed style only usable by Kensai/Mage!).

I think it's kewl....

EDIT: Reasonable and not unbalancing (IMHO). Also much cheaper this way.....

Azeroth
need your e-mail.
About that Axe I'm making Seabass, maybe someone would like to come up with a cool bio for it. "Axe of Wrath"
Oh Ubik I'm going to attempt the BPoD wand but it may take awhile. Ill use that to learn how to put spells in an item. ex:Cloud Kill. I can use the wand of cloud kill and beef it up, but still working on adding spells.

I need an innate ability which can restore all previously cast spells. It's not really intended to be used in battle... I'm just too lazy to go and find a place to rest every 5 seconds for my mages. I know how to do it, but I'd have to add 12 x 9 = 108 effects in InfinityEditorPro... and I'm way too lazy for that!

Hmm... why all these requests to make me a sacrifice for a powerful weapon. You know I'd turn the item into a 'back-biter'... Image

And looking at the AD&D manual, did you know even +1 weapons are in some way sentient? Like Yoshimo's sword only being usable by him.

If I were a blade (a pork chop knife?) I'd give you such sh*t weasel.

Weasel - Come my trusty Katana, let us drink in the blood of our enemies.
Gruntblade - Traitor, traitor, traitor! Oink, Oink!

to Seabass> If you want a fun item you should add 'Simulacrum' to equipped abilities, not to the usable x times / day. It would work the same way as invisibility with the staff of the magi, everytime you'd equip it it would cast simulacrum ... You could make yourself an 'army of me' Image

NAw man, thats too much... I dont even know if what I asked for is possible...... Im trying to get to know the program right now, see if I'll be able to work these things.... The standard thaco, enchantments, speed factors, weight and so on are pretty basic stuff... its just the special , equipped, and combat abilities... Im never fighuring it out, but it doesnt hurt to try

About the BIO, make it something with an ancient renegade duergar mage.... Im trying to think of story here

Oh yeah and if you saw my email, I asked if you could do an identical one, with the name
"Axe of Mercy"... but thats ****, I'll need a diff one .... otherwise itll be pretty dumb having two identical axes with idff names.... BUt Ill get you the stats fo rthat later, much later, when you have time.....

But thats cool tho, that the two axes kinda balance each other, Wrath being Evil, Mercy being Good... and the story goes that they do not become magically efficient if they're not dual wielded.... Anyone have any ideas for the other, complementing axe???... if theres anything to complement..... I duno

Further clairification. Dak'kon's, and the blade I'm requesting, doesn't cast the spells. They act more like the Ring of Acuity or the Ring of Wizardry in that they just afford you extra spell slots in your spell book.

And yes, some of the weapons do 'cast' spells.

EDIT: Forgot about the 'I delete my E-mails' comment. Did you get mine or do I need to post full stats here??
