Exp. makes things work.

So far i´m level 40, have full set of daedric enchanted with speed and strenght (str is better than feather, coz it allso modifies your damage in meléé). And if i want to carry some extra load, i´ll put on my guildmaster (Nocturnal) cowl (200 weather), anyways i can carry 900... I dont have any use for enchanter swd like GoldBranch, my daedric long swd makes 39 damage and i have pumped my illusion to 100 so i can cast 100 chameleon 50 sec and have willpower over 100 so regen (i´m redguard) is overwhelming. All falls in front of me be it Xivilai or any other... this is getting booriiing.. :D

Enchanted items

A glass dagger enchanted with Weakness to Fire, Frost, Shock & Poison 75% (since they only cost 1pt each), plus 15pts Fire, Frost & Shock damage. I get about 38 uses before I'm out of charges, but it kills most things with one hit

Ebony cuirass enchanted with Constant Strength. This has the advantage of adding to my strength (for damage) and to the amount I can carry.

Ebony helm enchanted with Constant +25 Magicka. This replaced my Warmage Helm which was a random item but only gave +20 magicka.

Now I'm on the lookout for some ebony greaves so that my outfit matches... :)

Ooh! Shiny!

Most posters seem obsessed with enchanting weapons. Perhaps it's because of soul gem shortage. I don't find it that useful. You find heaps of magic weapons, and they're pretty much the same (more damage). Finding armor parts that are useful is a bit more difficult.

Wait till the lil' monsters start swarming you as you go up levels...

Anyways, got my str at 160 now, and int at 120 through armor. Works fine cause the only problem I have right now is being capable of lugging around all my loot, even with the best feather spell out there.

I've enchanted my daedric set like this:
Storm greaves: +25 shockshield
Helmet of Power: +12 strength
Boots of Magic: +50 magicka (good for heal spells)
Cuirass of the Undefeated: +30 health (actually this was loot :D )
and I have an ebony style pair of gloves with +9 strength although I want to find a daedric one to match the set! Apart from the jewels of course...I have one amulet with +25 blade and +33% damage reflect
For a knight I think its fine! ;)

For my current level 7 character, I've enchanted a Helium Steel Cuirass: Feather 20 pts. Lighter but just as filling as the real thing, and along with a pair of buoyancy and feather spells, enables me to plunder far more from a dungeon in a single swoop.

For the moment, at least, the rest of my wearables are found enchantments: two rings with chameleon 20% and 25% respectively, boots that add 9 points of speed, gauntlets that provide 6 point of strength, etc. I've also added a mod that allows a single figure in each mage guild to provide the same spell creation and enchanting figures available through the University. This would be a cheat if I didn't already have University access, IMO, but since I do, it's simply for convenience. I hate the loading times of moving from outer cities to the University.

Feather Stack

Yes, they do

What ever spell you cast 50, 100 ...
+ Ring
+ Ring
+ Necklace
+ Potion or Scroll (haven't tried to combine potion and scroll)

I collect and then drop what ever encombers me (once the stuff has passed through my hands then program doesn't seem to know how to clean up the dungeon for the reset, I have found things I have dropped after it has been repopulated) until I have wiped out the enemy, then change from war gear to feather gear to haul back more than a small pickup truck can move.
if you are really goodie hungry you can enchant light weight clothing with feather as well.

That is the secret to my success, too. Stacking charms. I have an armpitful of enchanted rings and amulets to stack Chameleon to 70, Feather to over 100, and so on and so forth. I mix and match my enchantments to suit my present needs.

Right now, I can only enchant my weopon with a few spells (5 I think) and I can only nchant it witha maximum of 40 (whatever unit that is). How do I get more spells to enchant it with and how do I increase the 40?

I've been working on "Specialty Suits"

I did enchant one weapon, an Elvish longsword, with Damage health 25pts for 2 seconds. That's an extra fifty points damage in two seconds. I did it with a Grand Soul Gem so it gets quite a few hits. It's good if you find yourself outnumbered and need to to get a bunch of extra damage dealt quickly.
Armor and "Suits" are my new builds of choice. I have a full suit of glass armor (finally) and I enchanted three of them with the constant effect fortify strength. The other three have the constant effect fortify endurance. That's an extra 29 str and 29 end just for wearing my top light armor.
I was under the impression that, since intelligence affected alchemy, that a high INT would boost the potence of my spells. So I made a suit (shirt, pants, shoes, two rings and an amulet) that had each item enchanted to constant effect fortify intelligence. My INT went from 99 to 147 when I put on the "suit". THe problem is, it didn't effect myh potion making at all.
The same thing happened with my "Sales suit" where I boosted my personality to get a better effect om my Mercantile and Speechcraft. It was a whole lot of enchanting for no visible effect when using them.

In fact, I just opened a new thread asking if anyone can figure out what good it does to boost non-physical stats over 100.

I've enchanted bunches.... but my favorite are some Daedric Gloves that I enchanted with something like "Feather 50"... I named them "Gloves O' Picking **** Up" ;-)

Amog a lot of my enchantments, I think the best one is the "Soulreaver".
Daedric Longsword.
Fire damage 12 points
Shock damage 12 points
Frost damage 12 points
Weakness to Fire %74 for 3 seconds
Weakness to Shock %74 for 3 seconds
Weakness to Frost %74 for 3 seconds
Soultrap

This specs. used all soul points of a Grand.(18 charges)

with the azura soul gem, a very good combination.

Ouch. That would hurt. I never got that much magic into a sword. I guess now would be a good time to start trying.

I am getting ready to tune up a complete set of heavy armor.
Umbra's and/or Daedric.
Any good ideas? Thinking about Strength, or maybe Stealth.

Anybody make a really cool set? it's on 360.

Thanks!

On a light armor I would suggest shield enchantment. But on a heavy armor you dont need it that much. (With shield you can easly raise your armor ration to 85, wich is the max.)

There are not much usefull spells for armors, also weapon enchantmens could be better. But if you not choose chamelon, the best spells are attribute increasing spells.

I would there could be a regenerating spell for armors...

eensie weensie spoiler potential

Fur. Lovely, luxurious fur. Greaves, Cuirass, Gauntlets, Helm and Shield. Plus an amulet and two rings (gotta name them differently or you can't equip both). That's 8 items, with +10 acrobatics each for +80 acrobatics. "No boots?", you ask? Well, sure, there's nothing quite like fur boots unless you have the Boots of Springheel Jak for +50 acrobatics ,so that would work too. Anyway, if you're already an acrobat by nature or design, something in the range of +90 to +130 acrobatics will get you into (and out of) some pretty interesting places (and if you throw in the occasional Fortify Acrobatics spell, well, all bets are off). Ever been in an ayleid ruin or sewer passage where you could see a balcony or overpass that you just knew led straight to your objective? Problem solved.

hmmmmm,

Base acrobatics of 100....
Item enchantments of 7*+10 and 1*+50....
Spell of +100...
+ what ever you can get out of a potion (+30?)

I wonder how high you can jump with an acrobatics of ~350

When you jump that high, don't worry about the jump. Worry about the landing. It's the Cement Poisoning that kills you.
