Ok lets drop the biblical stuff and focus on actions and motivations.
I have hard time defining any action as good or as evil.
Here is an example.
If a person finds a bird with a broken wing and nurses it back to health, was this a good action? I do not believe it was because the person really did this because it made him feel good about himself to do it, therefore it was done for personal gain and could not be considered a truly good action.
