ooh my... another of my misunderstanding.....no need to apologies, just me who is stupid ....sry to putt a spam hereDesR85 wrote:It has nothing to do with the sneak mode. And its not a glitch. What I was saying is that when you draw back your sword, the sword is placed at your back. However, what irks me is that there is nothing to hold the sword in place at your back. I hope that they would introduce a scabbard (sword cover) so that at least it will look more logical to see a sword in a cover rather than the sword being exposed.
My apologies for not explaining my opinion at the previous post clearly.

I do know what u mean i think it is a detail they have bin to careless with.. they just left it there even when u pull ur bow it just appears... OUT OF THIN AIR... thats anoys to.. also when u run with a great hammer or axe on ur back ur feet go right thrue it u ever seen that one to.... there are much things like that.. I got one thing to say to that... BahDesR85 wrote:Speaking of swords, does anyone realise that whenever you sheath your sword, there is no scabbard at the back? I mean, the sword in Fable: The Lost Chapters looks like its magnetically stuck onto your back. Even though the sword placement is logical, it irks me to see the sword stuck to your back without something to hold it in place.
It would B nice if they watched it more in fable 2 and take care of the left over details to

Yes. It irks me too to see the bow just suddenly vanish instead of slinging it at the back. I also felt the same way as you about both greathammers and greataxes where your feet tend to go through them. About greathammers and greataxes, I'm not so sure as to what type of accessory will hold either weapon in place since they're pretty big.matthewd wrote:I do know what u mean i think it is a detail they have bin to careless with.. they just left it there even when u pull ur bow it just appears... Maybe they should turn it around with the big side up... or just let him hold it for the time it is wielded...
There are many ways... they are just to lazy to figure out what, Or they ran out of cash and had to finish it quickly...I dont know
But some things are really massy looking.. Ever seen a bandit fall on a hill he is still 100% stretched like the horizon... some i saw fell thru wood others their heads disapear in the three... I am a detail man.. I hate those things
But still the gameplot and the quests.. the basic setup.. Nothing can beet that

Good idea. They might have to change the animation of drawing either the greataxe or greathammer as a result but at least it will look better. About leaving either the greathammer or greataxe drawn, it might look kind of provocative so I don't think that is a good idea to me.matthewd wrote:Maybe they should turn it around with the big side up... or just let him hold it for the time it is wielded...

That is the clipping issue. That happens in most games where an object will either fly through a wall or kind of protrude through it. I don't mind it but I do get irritated if I see that happening.matthewd wrote: But some things are really massy looking.. I have an idea here. What about the idea of creating your very own insignia on your armour? It will look cool to me and it does make the armour pleasing to look at. Might work like if you join a group of heroes, their insignia will be painted on the front and back of the armour. At least it will give you a sense of belonging to the group should you have one.

Great idea, Jakey. It will give you added protection when in battle and it does look good too (depending on the design). On that note, I might go way off-topic here but I was thinking of the controls should be like left mouse button click for swinging your primary weapon, the right mouse button for swinging the weapon at your left hand or using your shield (should it be equipped) as an example. I know some will say that the right mouse button is meant for running but what about using the 'shift' key for that instead (not holding it down, just tap once and the hero's in running mode. Tap another time and he's back at walking pace)?jakey252 wrote:I think that there should also be shields because that would be gr8!!:mischief:

The fact that they brought guns in totally pissed me off, though. I prefer the bow and arrow, magic, and sword of Fable, as compaired to a gun, sword, magic, and demons . Fable 2 really took me off guard, I was hoping for a prequel to Fable or maybe even a run off with Hero being an Evil overlord or Good guy based on the memory on your computer or Xbox. Imagine your greatest character in Fable: TLC, and load him as Albion's leader. But no, Lionhead decided to contribute the basics for everyother game on the market to the cesspool of Fable 2.
You sell your soul for enxpendable pain.Ask for the fire, "Exempt my domain." But as the battle echoes your reign, You pray for the Heavens to smother the flame.
Let me be honest here. Are open-ended games good candidates for sequels/prequels? In my honest opinion, no. Why? Its because there are too many complications to deal with when expanding upon an existing open-ended game. Considering the ability of the main character to choose whether he/she wants to be good or bad plus the fact that whatever he/she does affect the game world, I severely doubt that having a sequel based on the first game is a good idea at all.Slayer_71 wrote: Fable 2 really took me off guard, I was hoping for a prequel to Fable or maybe even a run off with Hero being an Evil overlord or Good guy based on the memory on your computer or Xbox. That's why when I read that Fable 2 is going to be set 500 years after Fable: The Lost Chapters, I find it suitable and quite fitting, to be honest. No need to worry about the hero and the characters of Fable: The Lost Chapters. Just start with a new story and a new cast of characters. At least Lionhead won't face many headaches when developing Fable 2.
EDIT: Enough of me talking about something unrelated. Lets get back on topic here.

That would be cool. Its always great to be able to customise your armour to your heart's content.

I'm not going to read what everyone says cause I'm too lazy.
Bringing over a thought for guns, silver bullets would be a good idea, but why not have augmentation slots that can be upgraded to place and remove augmentations? Bad ass, yes? I know several occasions where I got boned because I stocked my augmentations and couldn't change them. But with guns, are we going to have to buy bullets, or will we magically reload with an endless suply of them (as per Fable)?

I've mentioned that idea a long time ago back at the Ideas and Discussion thread but yes, a lot of people here will agree with you since the fact that you can't remove the augmentation from a weapon is irritating.Slayer_71 wrote:Bringing over a thought for guns, silver bullets would be a good idea, but why not have augmentation slots that can be upgraded to place and remove augmentations?
Haven't given it much thought. They (Lionhead) might follow the same mechanic used by the bow and arrow where the arrow is limitless or they could implement a new mechanic where you have to buy bullets from shops or collect them from dead bodies or something. In my honest opinion, I wouldn't mind if they go for the second option since it will provide some challenge as to how you manage your shots since there is a ammo limit on the different types of bullets in your inventory.Slayer_71 wrote:But with guns, are we going to have to buy bullets, or will we magically reload with an endless suply of them (as per Fable)?

Decapitations are always fun, how about a Vorpal augmentation, eh? Ehhh?? Yeah , that's what I thought. Seriously though it seems as if guns aren't too bad after all, WoW has a good thing going with them. It'd also be interesting to Fable 2 had an interactive spot for the Xbox Live users, (I'm not one), such as a battle field for characters that made and beat the game?
As for the Legendary weapons, I pray to god they come back. Maybe the treasure clues will be worthwhile this time?

Erm. I don't get your idea of a Vorpal augmentation. Could you elaborate further? Thanks.Slayer_71 wrote:Decapitations are always fun, how about a Vorpal augmentation, eh? Ehhh?? Yeah , that's what I thought.

Not if they would make him hold it like a paladin not like they hold it drawn ready to fight.. just let him hold it in one hand with the top of the hammer in front of u.. not with two hands ready to crack some skulls

yeah me to.. I really think it spoils it sometimes it really bothers me to see Especially the old games i threw away.. I hate it when i kick someone ingame and my foot goes right treu his skull without even splattering it... It sucks
But it think the time these texture problems are resolved it is by the time of 2014 u will always have them.. Sadly
Agreed.
I am Glad u agreed

MayBe they should make some sort of decapatating knife or something or a hooked cleaver... They should take exsample of the Prince of persia series concerning the weapons...
