Ha, a "friend"

@Shana: If friendship doesn't work, you could always try blackmail. Just say you'll tell his bosses he steals drinks... good chance of being correct.
And I'd ask you not to call it stealing, that's very uncouth... it was just
sampling .

I never said "stealing"!!

Ah, you said taking stuff.
In that case, I apologise...*glares at anyone who is thinking stealing*

"Sampling" is a much nicer way of phrasing it!!

I thought so too. I can take it the next step and say it helps the company, by him knowing what it tastes like, he gives the customers a better description, makes them happier, and sells more.
Or I can save that for court, either way.

Speaking of sampling I have a friend working at Fazer(candy producer)whom I always get free samples of new products, It's really sweet when you don't have to buy candy

Whoopsie, brain let me down again.
In Brissy, we have the Ekka (the Brisbane show) on at the moment. I'm not going to the thing, but I planned on getting a friend to buy me one of the showbags (I'm a sucker for chocolate), unfortunately I forgot to ring him... and I don't think he'd appreciate it at 1 in the morning.

Because I'm a prick with the law, I'll take you up on that.
*clears throat*
Stealing is the act of taking or converting the property of another with intent (there are the intents listed in full, but to generalise, with intent to deprive or cause detriment to the owner).
Now, there was no intent to deprive the owner, or cause detriment to the store.
So, it's not stealing.
However, under Qld law, it's classed under 'The regulatory offences act'. It's classified as unauthorised dealing with goods.
That's what I call a bump.
