You can definitely tell a lot of sweat and work (and probably alcohol) went into them.

It could be. I've been growly several times at things that probably wouldn't have even made a dent before. Don't know what it is; things have just built to a head, just overly sensitive, full moon, neap tide, who knows. But I have noticed my patience with certain people at an all-time low lately.
