I suppose it would have been nice to train companions in KotOR I, but hey, can't miss something that wasn't there, right?
Strength in Numbers
Jedi are the best characters in the game when it comes to aiding you. So naturally making all the possible characters that i could Jedi i was fairly certain of not dying in some of the tougher areas of the game.
