I'm pretty happy with my PC, even though it set me back quite a bit ;) . I'll post the system build here again for reference:
  1. Case: ThermalTake Tai Chi
  2. Power supply: Antec Neo HE 550 EC
  3. Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster 206BW
  4. Mouse: Logitech G5 Laser mouse (not wireless)
  5. Keyboard: Logitech G15 Azerty BE lay-out
  6. Motherboard: Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe
  7. Processor: AM2: Athlon 64 X2 3800+
  8. Heatsink: ThermalRight SI-97A
  9. Fan: Papst 3412 N/2GL
  10. Graphics: MSI GeForce NX7600GT
  11. RAM: Corsair 2GB TWIN2X2048-6400
  12. DVD-writer: Plextor PX-760A
  13. Internal hard disk: Maxtor DiamondMax 10 200GB S-ATA II
  14. External hard disk: Freecom FHD-2 Pro 60GB
Latest addition has been the monitor, which I bought for my birthday and I haven't regretted it yet. I must say I've waited a looooooooong time for TFT technology to get up to speed with CRT's and I'm happy with the results so far :) . I'll probably swap in the graphic card for a Direct X 10 card next, though. I bought the case and graphics card about a year ago in light of getting an SLI setup, when there was no mention of Direct X 10 yet or even Vista - total bummer in retrospect :( . Running Vista Home Premium on my system ATM without any problems so far, BTW. Temps and noise are very reasonable too (currently 43°C CPU, 32° ambient and 43° GPU on idle; around 45° when running games)

I switched to Linux earlier this year, and once I get my (already ordered) "Cedega" Version I'm going to try out my old Windows Games (Like BG II) under Linux....

If that works, my Microsoft days are over... :D

No worries, I'll keep you informed...
