wow the tab thing is very handy! the stuff was hidden behind a wall so i couldnt find it.

so does will my orc be able to find himself a girl at all?

Crucis already answered that. I'd suggest searching through Sorcerer's Place - Neverwinter Nights 2, Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach, Dragon Age News for a mod that allows it.

Since you installed the baldurdash bug fixes your half-orc can romance Viconia. If it's worth keeping Viconia just because of the romance is another question.

ok i see. i got confused because i read at the start of a walkthrough (about creating your char) that the guy who wrote it chose half orc for the romance with viconia.

nearly lost keldorn due to his wife, but i let him have a day with her, thats alright right? i felt bad about not letting him at all, but didn't want to lose him either.

Well, that guy also mentions some mods, maybe that baldur's fix is with them, or maybe Viconia dates Half-Orcs. Fable only confirmed she doesn't dates elves, and Krukis wasn't sure. Go ahead and perform a groundbreaking quest so the Gamebanshee community finally knows for sure the drow(Viconia's race) want to breed with a half-orc! ;)

ha the whole romance thing is getting fun, she started to flirt with my half orc, then basicly told him to **** off  so yeah i think theromance thing is working.

i found that to retrieve imoen you could side with one of two "groups", one of which being from the graveyard (trying to give a minimum away so this isn't a "spoiler") i suppose that depending on your alignment you choose to side to one of those right?

That's what's roleplaying all about. Choose the group your half-orcs would choose.

the planar sphere....do i need that guy in my party to be able to enter it?

DomTom, that answer is already in the walkthrough on GameBanshee. Just check it, and you'll find all details of every quest discussed.

You might want to avoid asking what's been answered elsewhere, too, in case the site owner decides this is just a shortcut to get around using the walkthrough or our search engine. Then he'll close the thread.

But short answer: yes. ;)

Rangers can become fallen and the chance that it will happen for the PC is quite high.
He'll become fallen if he doesn't act like the developers want him to (there even exists a mod because many players don't agree with their definition of what are evil choices).
The program doesn't even announce clearly when the character becomes fallen, so many have made their save when their character had already fallen and when they realized that the character has become fallen they didn't even know when or why this happened.
It’s seems we’re once again in disagreement. :)

You’re dismissing two whole classes on account of what might happen later in the game, which is hardly a fair comparison. Moreover, you’re dismissing the classes based on something which might happen regardless of how experienced you are. If you’ve played the game ten times or if you’re playing it for the first time, if this situation occurs, it doesn’t matter how experienced you are in the game.

In my opinion, there’s a vast difference between suggesting a class that relies on quite a bit of understanding in the game, and suggesting a class which might have to deal with an unforeseen circumstance. An unforeseen circumstance where there’s a big chance it won’t even occur.

I had this never happen to me. (Becoming fallen, that is.) Besides, I think the points where you do become fallen are quite clear.

Also, in relation to the falling bit, surely one should assume that the player is going to actually role-play the character! If the player role-plays a Ranger or Paladin in a reasonable manner, falling will never become an issue.

Unless of course a mage in the party happens to kill a bunch of commoners with an accidental fireball. As the PC you are responsible for all your party members actions.

This does happen to newbies from time to time if it is not something they are aware of.

Valid point, but only if you're using 3rd party scripts if I recall correctly. I confess I rarely use scripts, I've never found one that worked to my satisfaction.

On the other hand, would it take an ethicus of the calibre of Kant to figure out that roasting a community alive with a fireball MAY be considered *slightly* misschievious? ;)

Besides, I'd never entrust any kind of script with the usage of magic.

Even without a script lack of knowledge of area effect spells can bring a ranger/paladin low.

I don't know how many times i misjudged abi-dalzims horried wilting and fried half my party...but to be honest the chances of frying lots of innocents is low as there aren't many area's where you fight amongst commoners.

In a bugfixed game you don't have to kill commoners to become fallen, you can even become fallen with 20 reputation in chapter7. For not walkthrough-hugging first time players the chance is high and the consequences are dire.
Because of a bug this can't happen to players who installed only the official patches (therefore many don't even know this danger), but baldurdash (which DomTom installed) fixes this.

IIRC, that possibility in Chapter VII is quite obvious. And we're all beside the point: DomTom is playing a Half-Orc Kensai. (If I was able to follow it correctly.)

It must have been a different spell, horrid wilting works only on enemies :)
