Well, the main thing i want to have in K3 is harder oponents and fights...and more robes and it would be better to separate armor on things like chest, boots, gloves and shouldners...and of course to pick up your race................RODIANS 4EVER!!!!
Thats what i meant by customizable armor or you never read anyother reply.

It's not who you are underneath, but what you do that defines you.
only problem with those people comming back....Darkside: Mission gets killed, Big Z gets killed, Carth gets killed. Exile wouldn't be able to come back in III as the exile's face is chose by you and gender...Revan could come back as s/he had a mask...Darkside: Sunry gets death in trial. Griff dies darkside. See all the problems about characters comming back isn't really fair to the darkside players.....yes all were great characters but not everyone plays lightside....and dev's would keep that in mind....granted Big Z could come back after being darkside in part one was if you made him kill Mission....if you wanted massive DS you killed em both....and those jedi masters die when you play darkside....the only logical characters that would be able to come back would be T3,HK,Bastilla,Handmaiden/Disciple,Visas,Bao-Dur,Atton,Mandalore,Canderous,Revan,. as no matter if you played both light and dark in both games those characters are the only one's that don't die on darkside.
I'n not picking on you but you bring up arguable points as i do they could create alignment choice in character creation that determines who's alive and who's not. What do you and all the other players think about that please reply me on this idea i'm interested on this topic
Well, you would have had to have been lightside, because, in KOTOR II, how would the Sith have been so crippled? They still had the Star Forge!
And, about the choices, that would be fine, but since, in Star Wars Episodes I-III, the Jedi seem to have never fought a lot. And, during the reign of Chancellor Valorum, there was no army. In KOTOR I and II, they had an army, so somehow the army was signed off. Also, added benefits if you had been lightside in both: the Republic would be stronger.
Anyway, why do they not make a branch off series? The KOTOR ideas are good, why do we not have a Star Wars: Knights of the New Republic?

Thats why they start off in the unknown parts of the galaxy new Republic, new Sith so you dont really have to worry about the war in the past you just have to worry about what characters are alive.
And they are making a Star Wars TV series and they are considering of making about the new Republic because making a series about the movies will just ruin the movies and doing a series about the games will just ruin the games.

I can't believe this is what we have come to..
Grwah!!
Alright now that that is out of my system. Okay, we have already seen the problem with the complete lightside game. Um.. a Star Wars TV show? The cartoon that has already aired is stupid at best. KOTOR should not go that way.
It is the Old republic so that we do not have to worry about the movie republic. We should be moving away from these entanglements. I think that KOTOR III should end this Revan and Exile and (new character) story. It should END IT! After that they have unlimited amounts of roman numerals to cover the 4000 years before the movies. IV could be 100-500 years later, when technology has advanced, several new generations can be produced and both the Jedi and the Sith have had a chance to recouperate. Now that is a KOTOR IV. My ideas for that are significantly different from III. I think we need to focus on III please.

I think i'd have to agree with you they should end the whole Revan and Exile thing and get a new war, new conflicts, and new characters rebuilt Sith and Jedi Order (with a council not a leader) and all the Cities rebuilt
p.s the choice of alignment in creation is still a good idea because you get to choose what side you start off in

Fetts in KOTOR 3
I still havn't heard any replies on a Fett in KOTOR 3 controlable or NPC (i'd like to have him controlable) either way i'd like a Fett to be in KOTOR 3. But in both KOTOR 1 and 2 i could find Fett armor (thats the name of the armor) that looks like Jango's and Bobo's armor. I think i'll just start a thread to see what other people think.

Remember that the time difference between the first movie and the ending of KotOR II is 3995 years?

Like i said before there is fett armor that looks like the armor that Jango and Bobo use in the game that the player can purchase so that proves there must be a Fett somewhere making the armor or designing the armor. That explains that there could be a Fett in the game.

That looks like? Which armour is this? Does it have a jetpack? No. This game is almost 4000 years earlier, things easily change in 4000 years. I doubt that you are doing the same thing your grandfather of 4000 years did, aye?
The mandalorian armour is the closest I can think of, and that was KotOR I, when you could actually buy it and the mask.

First it LOOKS LIKE Jango and Bobo's armor that means it's not exact but more similar then than mandalorian armor (unless your the designer of the game which a doubt you will not convince me that the armor i saw isn't Fett armor) after all it's name was Fett Armor. I found it on Dantooine.
And second like you said 4000 years before, the armor i saw wont be as advanced as it is in the movies, it's going to have quite a few differences.
And last but not least i've given you proof that there is Fett armor (which means a Fett in the game) but you havn't shown me proof there isn't a Fett.
And i'm native american which means i hunt, trap, and spreak my language i think that covers what my grandfather did.
p.s the Hutts lasted 4000 yrs why cant Fetts

I saw on wikipedia some time ago that one of the major generals of the mandalorians wars (he died, but if Jango was living then he defintley had kids) name sometihng Fett (sometihng like Oomba but not hat wierd) And ill back up marten on that one, there was some familiar looking Fett Armor in Kototr 1 that you could buy from a merchant who i think was across a bridge from the enclave, by his speeder.
If God did not exist, it would be necessary to invent him.

Oh, the first game, not the second? My mistake. I really should go back and read up on my KotOR knowledge...

Just a little note here: Jango and Boba Fett's armour was modified Mandalorian armour, if anything, it was less effective than that of the armour in the KotOR games.
Now, my memory (land much like a goldfish's) is not always the best, but I don't recall any armour with the name 'Fett' in it. I do, however, recall armour that looks like it was scavenged from Mandalorian armour, and was similar to what was worn by Jango and Boba.

Thats right it was with a merchant (real expensive) past the enclave beside a speeder on Dantooine and if more people could back me up with putting a Fett in KOTOR 3 as a playable character this idea may actually happen.

There is a Fett in KOTOR times. A dead Fett at the very least. Name of Cassus Fett. You can by his armour in KOTOR I from a merchant just as you leave the enclave on Dantooine.
Now my 2 cents on this Fett business. Yes it is true that Jango and Boba's armour was modified Mandalorian armour. However, it is also true that we have found Cassus Fett armour. I think it is more likely that these people made their own armour, or at least upgraded existing stuff, to fit their personality. In this context I think that in KOTOR III (the topic of the thread) we should be able to make and nearly unlimitedly upgrade our own personal armour. To customize it to our likings, shape, what goes on, colour, effects, defence bonuses, attack bonuses, etc. should all be up to customization.

I don't know why a fair few people would want to be able to keep playing after you have beaten the game. What would you possibly do? I haven't played Fable so I don't know how this should work, but I can't really see an RPG going on once the story has been finished. Imagine our stalwart heroes leaving the scene of the touching climactic ending and getting killed in a random side-quest.
And that second part reminds me of GTA:SA. Imagine seeing a fat tattooed Jedi running through spaceports hijacking ships.
Sorry if this offends you, this was just MHO... I mean, sure, it would be nice to be able to affect your character's appearance in such depth; I just couldn't control myself. Sorry.

Suicide Girl: you never offended me, you convinced me i agree the whole tatoo thing is kinda gay now that i thought about it but i was kinda leaning towards Fable's tatoo system but all the same the tatoo thing should not happen.
Tovec: i think customizable armor is a great idea for KOTOR 3 i'd like to make my own armor and name my armor, just make a totally unique armor. (maybe armor that Jedi could use with their force powers)
Fett: i think i'll just make a thread and see how players respond to the idea.
Thread topic: what i'd also like to see is some more races granted they have lots already but some of the more rememberable races in my opinion like the Nautolan, Cerean, Iktotchi, and Kel Dor as controlable or even character creation.
